TL;DR: buy it. It's 1,000% worth it. 1.5 year update (spring 2024): Just pulled this guy out from the garage and it still works perfectly. There is rust on the metal parts that aren't coated (the fan cover and screws, mostly), but it works as well as ever! Picture with the shed is most recent. We've lost the remote, so I have no idea if that still works, but this thing is a work horse. I used generic bubble mix with a bit of blue dawn dish soap and mega bubble powder for the bubbles. The powder is for making the giant bubbles with ropes and such, but I find adding a little to normal bubble mix helps the bubbles not burst in a tiny gust of wind. We do not baby this thing and it has fallen 3 feet onto rocks repeatedly and is still working like a charm. Every other bubble machine we've had has worked for no more than 2 months. 1 year update: This thing is still working, despite being knocked over 4 feet to the ground repeatedly, left outside, and generally used by small children. It's got a little rust, but still works perfectly. Solid purchase. Way better than buying the $15 ones that break mid- summer. Picture is from owning it for a year. Love this bubble machine! The libraries we go to have this brand and use it multiple times a week, so I figured it was solid. It puts out a TON of bubbles. I have 4 young kids and it hasn't been broken yet - truly shocking. We're not gentle people, and I recently left it outside when it frosted (whoops). Still works! We add a little giant bubble mix sometimes, especially if it's windy, and the bubbles float forever. I think it'll be the first Bible machine that lasts more than one season. Solid purchase.

I was skeptical about spending this amount of money on a bubble machine. I’ve had to buy a bubble machine at least once, if not twice every summer though, so I decided to take the leap. With other bubble machines, the fan mechanism stops working and the batteries die quickly. Their bubble solution compartment was also difficult to empty/clean without it getting into the fan mechanism. This machine has so far been great. It doesn’t take batteries, but plugs in. I need to grab an extension cord now, but I think I prefer this rather than having to always change other batteries. The bubble compartment also seems to be well separated from the fan mechanism. If I go to pour out left over solution or to rinse the compartment, I’ve had a really easy time doing so without damaging other parts with water. The best part is it shoots out a lot of bubbles. The only downside is it requires a lot of bubble solution, but since the compartment for this is so big it also runs for a long time. Overall, I’m very happy for the price and performance of this machine, if this can last me for several summers.

I still use this, it draws a lot of attention at my trade shows everyone loved this machine I highly recommend it just don't buy them all say something for me it makes a lot of bubbles constantly and I will buy more

For the price, this is a great bubble machine. The thing that rotates is made out of plastic, but if you take care of the machine, it is relatively durable. After all, this isn't a $200 machine. If anything the cost of this machine saves the cost of rental. I also like how long it can run with the large solution capacity.

We have probably purchased 5 or 6 kids bubble machines in the last two years. We were tired of kids bubble machines constantly breaking so we sprung for an affordable/high quality bubble machine. The main housing is made of metal with a plastic basin installed for holding the mixture. The basin for loading the bubble mixture into is a bit deeper than the wands can reach, so there is definitely mixture left in the container that the bubble wand can't reach. Higher end models have a curved base so a higher percentage of the mixture can be used before needing a refill. When bubbles stop blowing there is still a decent amount of mixture in the basin. There are three settings for the power switch II / 0 / I. The II is for operation by remote, which has a lock / unlock symbol on it. Not exactly relevant and makes the device feel cheap, but it is a cheaper bubble machine. The I is for constant motion. The rotating bubble wand doesn't want to start moving on it's own consistently, it needs a little help to get going. This is easily achieved by giving a little tap or tug to get the wand going. The only complication is figuring out which way it's supposed to be spinning. The rotating bubble wand rotates in both directions, so if you stop and restart the machine it is likely to spin in the other direction. The fan is not very high-powered, so if set on ground level, the bubbles will mostly hit the ground within the first couple of feet of exiting the machine. This is of course dependent on wind conditions. The machine was definitely built to be mounted on an elevated surface. Because of the design, it can't be leaned at an angle to aim the bubbles upwards. You'll need to set this machine at least 3 feet up off the ground for the best experience for kids playing. We set ours on a stool or deck railing. Although that does leave it at risk for a potential fall, the metal casing seems like it could survive a drop or two, but I won't be testing that for the sake of the review. So far we are happy with this unit, once we figured out a couple of quirks. 4 out of 5 stars due to needing to manually help the wand start it's rotation and the potential concern for

Honestly this is a super durable bubble machine. Ive gone through quiet a few. And this one has stood up to a beating from my toddlers. Falls and all. This will be my 2nd year with it and thats the longest ive ever kept a bubble machine.

If you fill it up to max and let it run continously it lasts about 45 minutes before the bubbles noticeably reduce and at an hour its too low to produce bubbles and needs to be topped up. Works great though a consistent bubble output. Easy to use and clean afterwards. A low fan noise. The cord is quite short though so most likely will need an extension cord to use outside. Bubbles stay low to the ground like calf height when no wind present.

Great price, has a remote, makes bubbles and doesn’t make foam! We bought it to use on stage in musical theatre, so we needed it to be nice and quiet and run for a while without needing a refill. It worked exactly as needed. We also used it in a parade float and it consistently made lovely bubbles without foaming up in the reservoir.
