6 inch inline fan with intelligent controller

The fan comes with a controller and a plug in temp sensor. Power goes to the fan via the 3 pin plug then the controller can be placed approx 2 mtrs away and the temp sensor another 1.5 mtrs if needed. The fan has 10 speeds and the controller ramps up the speed in steps so keeps the current draw low. The ‘auto’ setting wasn’t quite as automatic as I’d hoped as in it won’t vary the fan speed to suit the temperature set point. Instead you pre-select the desired speed setting and the controller turns the fan on/off according to the temp or humidity set points. You can give it maximum and minimum set points to run the fan within so it’s quite flexible, will take a bit of trial and error playing with the settings but it will make sense (note you have to put a value against each one of the high/low temp and high/low humidity before the controller is ready to take over (those parameters flash at you indicating they need attention) I am not tech savvy but managed it fine. The fan itself is well put together and can be easily split away from the casing and withdrawn without disturbing the ducting either side. Fan is quiet and doesn’t vibrate at all, on speed 10 the air noise is more pronounced.

Fan is very noisy even with a silencer on it if your looking for a fan with low noise I wouldn’t recommend this fan what so ever item description is not accurate at all

The controller seems a bit rubbish. It only wants to display in F which is frustrating. I thought I could set my minimum and maximum temperature settings and it would adjust the speed accordingly to keep it between them. But no. It comes on when above the max temp or below the minimum temp and switches off completely when between them, to me thay seems a bit useless. It also makes more noise than a cheapo swift air xflo even at the lower settings. All in all a bit rubbish for the price and not very useful. Mine will be getting sent back for sure. It does blow air, and seems of a reasonable quality hence the 3 stars instead of 1.

This product is brilliant, value for money at its best. Really powerful motor, the display, sensor and settings work great! I installed this for a client who wanted to duct hot air out of his attic during hot days, with the settings on the screen and triggering options. It worked perfect. Highly recommend this product and will be choosing it again.

Bought to replace a broken down system air fan with similar specs but which is now approx 10 years old and has been running continuously since I bought it, we will see if this new one lasts as long. Worked straight out of the box, as described but about half the cost of the system air.

You can set whatever parameters that you want but the jump in running costs due to the fact that it doesn't do anything like a slowdown or stop when you hit a ceiling it just does a small beep you cannot link it to your Bluetooth or get readouts on graph however the motor is good the fittings are solid but it will not help you if you have to regulate humidity and heat accurately competently consistently you have to work out how to dial it in yourself which is not straightforward in fact it's back to front You've got to turn one off for the other one to work properly because if you want the temperature let's say to stay at 24 and yet you want to get rid of the humidity it will just take the heat and the humidity out obviously together so when the heat drops p if it even tries to correct itself you're just going to end up with double the humidity and attempt at the right temperature or vice versa I suggest getting an adjustable fan dialling it in and get a cheap govy humidifier and temperature reader that Bluetooth to your phone you can't connect it to Wi-Fi or do any of the things that is linked to this product through AC infinity as a cheaper option and cheaply no branding was visible apart from small print so it's very easy to think that you're about to buy an AC infinity and then end up with a pile of expensive non-regulating controller which is what you're buying it for right to be within two or three degrees or two or three percent of humidity or heat it's kind of the idea yeah you can do it for a fraction of the cost with the same powerful fan and a Bluetooth £8 humidity and temperature graph giving by the minute hour week month link it through your Wi-Fi and get a £23 extension and have a better result I hope this helps
