I love the tongs for getting toast out of the toaster, they work great for that. But, one of the tongs has a poorly installed magnet that is too deep and crooked, so that tong does not stick to my fridge. To the manufacturer: when you glue in the magnet, you should place the tong down on a ferrous metal plate, so the magnet pulls itself flush with the surface of the tong. If you don't want the to wait for the glue to completely dry, you can slide the tong off of the edge of the metal plate on to a nonmagnetic surface.

The tongs are two pieces glued and finish nailed to a center piece. Used them just occasionally and the nail popped out and glue separated. Don't waste your money. Look for tongs that are single piece.

Early into my possession, I can nonetheless give these tongs a strong vote of confidence. I'm 73 with arthritis in my hands but these tongs make it easy to retrieve things from toaster, grab olives or pickle slices from a jar; slippers baby beats are no challenge! Turning bacon or slices of SPAM is a snap!The bamboo construction is good quality and I'm confident that the tongs will be long lasting. The magnets are, I assume, that strong neodymium metal and the tongs cling to my 'fridge very nicely, even on the doors!I liked the things so well that the current purchase is my second pair~ I wanted "backup" pair while they are still available.Benefit-to-cost factor is great and I can easily recommend purchasing these!

The article arrived on time and put to use right away. My toaster doesn’t pot up english muffins all the way up so you can just pull the muffin out of the toaster. I don’t think it’s a toaster problem nut the muffins are smaller. This set of toaster tongs works great retrieving muffins. We bought one locally but it is too thick and can’t open it enough, in the toaster to grab the muffin. These are thinner and work just great. Love them. They e en have a magnet on them to hang it on the side of the toaster.Also works great for putting fresh cut vegetables from a platter on to your plate.

I wish I would have known about these sooner. I've burnt my hand so many times through the years trying to get toast out of my toaster or a bagel out of my toaster oven. They are magnetized and they stick right to the side of the toaster or toaster oven.
