Can this be used to close the bracelet or is it only a spacer

Only as a spacer to keep the beads from moving back and forth. I really don't reccomend them because they will tarnish

They are cute but one is already missing. 2nd day of wearing on my bracelet one kept falling off in my bathroom sink every time I washed my hands. I kept clipping it back on. It finally disappeared somewhere else other than the sink so yeaaa got one left
