OK bits, not-OK box.
The bits drill wood, aluminium, and mild steel easily. I haven't come across any hardened steel to try them on.However, the set is let down by a very poorly-designed box. To begin with, the latch isn't hinged, which means that it can -- and it probably will -- get lost. Additionaly the upper lip "latches" onto a flat surface, which means instead of getting the typical satisfying click you get with most latches, you get a kind of mushy feel, and you know at the slightest nudge the latch will go flying somewhere. The second problem is the box is made of polysterene, notorious for its brittleness. It's the kind of material pound-store stuff comes in. If you chuck this box into a tool box, it won't be long before it shatters. What are the rubber corners good for then? For a few pence more, this box could have been made out of polyethylene, and for a few additional pence more, out of ABS, like the offerings by some other manufacturers. The box is significantly thicker than it needs to be. And lastly, as another reviewer noted, there are no size marks for the bits. The only positive thing I've found about the box is the lift-and-pull design for holding the bits, even if some other reviewers seem to dislike it.The Chinese are selling 19-piece, 1-to-10 mm, solid-cobalt sets in cute metal boxes for under £13, so 1 star knocked for poor value and another star knocked for the box.

Poor storage and size markings
1. The method of removing the bits from the storage case involves having to apply pressure (to sharp flutes) to lever the wanted bit forwards, then lifting out.2. The size of each bit is only marked on one of the hexagonal sides in very small print, needing a magnifying glass to read. There are no size markings on the storage unit.I have a set of normal, straight shank bits also by Bosch. These just slip into a hole, and the sizes are clearly marked on the storage unit, so why on earth have they decided to take a step backwards.

Tough compact drills
The total length of hex chuck and my power drill/screwdriver is quite short and allowed me to drill in to a casting with limited access. After 14 holes in cast iron the drills still seam sharp. A great product.

Misleading and deceptive use of a product photo.
I think the use of a photo that is not the actual product is misleading and deceptive. The description only mentions drills but the second photo shows screwdriver bits too. It should be corrected. If I sold things on the internet using photos of better products then I’m sure my customers would complain too.
