Love this pattern. Anxious to start

I love this kit. High quality materials. Clear instructions. Beautiful image. I work on it for 5-10 hours a week and have likely put in 200 hours to get to this point. Very enjoyable, meditative work.

This is a gorgeous pattern. But it is not for beginners. You will need to know how to do french knots, couching, and back stitching. It has also taught me an important lesson, that I will not attempt another full coverage piece without gridding (this isn't quite full coverage, with a little exposed background, but it's very close). The flower in her hair is beautiful and one of my favorite things I've ever stitched.As usually happens, no matter how careful you think you're being, if you don't have a grid your counts are much more likely to be off by a little, and those little stitches can add up to really affect your final product. This happened to me with this kit. So my suggestion is to grid.I used DMC instead of the kit floss, and the needles included were very poor quality (one was already broken upon arrival).

It was great but I just noticed today that it didn’t include the bottom pattern (skirt of the lady part). Can I have the pattern? I’m addicted cross stitching it now.

Loved working on this! It came out so gorgeous. I didn’t complete all the outlining because Im too lazy. Will be getting it cleaned and frame and then hang in my Cuban themed kitchen

So I'm not a newbie at counted cross-stitch but this one was a headache. There are so many different tones of brown so make sure you're in a very well lighted area and double check everyting. Also make sure you have a stitch-ripper handy, you'll need it. I messed up so many times that I had to ask the company for more thread (my first time ever). But there's no charge, so it's all good. I got this for myself as a Christmas present and ended up finishing it by September. I used some extra threads to make a border then got some material and made it into a pillow. The end product was beautiful.

Great project. Definitely on the advanced side, had to learn couching and French knots for this. HIGHLY suggest photocopying the pattern, the paper does not stand up to all the folding and flipping. Started ripping and getting hard to read halfway through.
