Nice notebook, well-made, very thin, threadbound.
I got this to use as a daily journal. I sat down and wrote my first entry, and I'm pretty satisfied. I use a fountain pen. I tried this journal first with Noodler's Black ink, but it didn't seem to want to absorb and react properly. The pen skated a little and the ink smudged quite a lot well after it would have dried on another paper. I switched to Carbon Black ink, though, and it was fine after that. The ink didn't bleed through at all that I saw, and there was very fine ghosting, but nothing problematic. I like the little tiny 4mm grid. I think this notebook would look nice with kind of a sepia-toned ink. If you write a line per grid row you can fit a lot of information on one page. Aside from not being very compatible with Noodler's ink, this is a nice pleasing little journal.

Great notebook
I prefer this to Midori MD. Thin pages that handle fountain pens really well

Forever a Stalogy Lover!
Best notebooks you can buy on Amazon for planning and journaling. Love the paper and the grid. I use these like crazy. I take them to the UPS and have them cut down to TN size. They are great travelers notebooks/planners. Works great with all pens, even fountain. Doesn't do so well with certain gel pens but I am not a pen expert. Page count is great. Book expands very well with use, and adding in pages, etc. Texture it my favorite though!! Love the way the pages feel and how the ink/pencil/highlight just goes on so well.

So fresh that I can still smell the tree
The notebook is very durable. It may seem like a steep price for a notebook but I can promise you that the quality is there. The paper has that fresh press smell and the pages dont bleed easy. I wouldnt watercolor on it but It can sure hold the pens ink. It is a little small so i would reccomend it to keep notes for one class or a diary.

Excellent notebook
I've used the Stalogy 'Editor series' in all their available sizes in the past. For my needs, I prefer the A5, B6, and B5 notebooks and less frequently the A6. I use them for journaling, keeping notes, as well as sketchbooks. I cannot recommend this brand and series enough if paper surface and consistent manufacturing quality is important for you. Since another user mentioned this, I just wanted to add that I actually prefer the 4mm grid in their A5 notebook (over the 5mm grid size they're using for the other sizes). A 4mm pale grey grid feels far more flexible and all-purpose to me rather than the 5mm grid which feels more confining for some reason. Therefore, I would not let the other user's comment dissuade you from trying the A5 out.

Super Thin. Smooth Paper. Perfect Grid Size.
Can't believe how thin this notebook is with 192 pages! Was able to do a monthly spread, about 4 other spreads and daily pages for three months and still have over 60 pages left. You can see the writing through pages a little bit but it's not distracting. The date section at the top really is too faint and tiny to actually be useful, but it's easy to ignore or cover with washi. The grid is a great size and is faint enough that your writing stands out, but it can be used when needed. Looking forward to trying Stalogy notebooks in other sizes once this one is full. So glad I tried it!

GREAT! but... strong chemical smell.
Great little notebook. Small squares, light grid. Perfect replacement for my leuchtiurm. I like it better. BUT, very very strong chemical smell it takes a few weeks to go away. Which I usually don’t mind, but this is pretty bad. Still like the notebook tho. Just had to air it out ALOT.

Best notebook, I use it as my yearly journal. This year I purchased the half-a-year version so it's thinner

Everything is okay but the product is a bit overpriced for a thinner notebook
