Honestly very happy with this product. As someone who doesn't have curls but hair isn't straight to find something in the middle. Either products are too heavy for my hair or do nothing. I have wavy hair with a bit of curls and this is the perfect gel for my hair type. Soft hold, isn't sticky but still defines the waves! The product smells amazing, the amount of the price is great, my hair doesn't feel dry but feels moisturized too. Very excited to try out more products to help on my natural hair journey!

I have been using this for many years after years of experimenting with different hair products. I have used it through long hair, medium length hair, and short hair. I have hair that is somewhat curly, somewhat straight. My hair is dense (as in I have a lot of it) but each strand is pretty fine. My scalp does tend towards dryness (as most curly haired people will agree) which is why I only wash my hair every 5 days or so. I don't use any harsh, hot drying methods on my hair, I let it air dry. I don't like using harsh products like alcohol or coating products like silicon. I have seen what that does to my hair and it's no good.After I towel off the excess water from my hair I use a dime size amount of this gel combined with a little natural oil (right now I'm using a blend of Sweet Almond oil and Jojoba oil) and I rub that combination throughout my damp hair. That's it! I let it air dry and viola! I do literally nothing else and my hair looks and feels frizz free, soft, and clean for at least 5 days.If you only need to use as little as I do, this bottle will last a year! It has great ingredients and I hope you buy some so they don't go out of business!

good stuff, a little goes a LONG way, isn’t greasy, defines my curls, i don’t have type 4 hair so not sure how it works with them, faint nice smell,

I have tried quite a few curl gels before this one. They often feel heavy, clumpy, or even worse...crunchy when they dry. This one helped to hold the shape of the curls while being light and soft when the hair dried.

This gel works fine. I have a fragrance allergy and it's hard to find one without fragrances so I've been using this one for a few months. There are definitely other gels that have more hold but this gets the job done. I have wavy hair and this gel doesn't make it crunchy so that's a plus.

I love this gel I have 2b/3a curls and I pair it with cream and it makes my curls frizz free and defined! And it doesn’t leave any sticky or flaky residue! I have severe fragrance sensitivity, this was the cheapest fragrance free gel I could find so I love that it works great for the price!!

I use this as the last step of my washday routine and it has good hold. I have 3b curls.
