Long live modding.
This review is for the 3 bay hard drive cage.Popped this into the back of my air 540. It has 3 holes that aligned nicely with the hexa-mesh on the back of the case but I want something more secure for holding 3 hard drives, so I drilled 3 more holes into it and the mobo panel. Fits in right above the ssd cage snugly like it was made for it. Left just enough room to route my cpu/fan cables without hassle. Feels like it's made of the same either aluminum or steel as most pc cases. Might more likely be steel as it did take some push to drill through. There is one edge that is pretty sharp and is something I expect master cooler to take care of, especially because most of the other edges were either smoothed or rolled, like they just forgot about this edge in the design faze.

Nice
Well the idea of Mastercase is to let you customize as much as possible without you needind to break of modify your case your case. This is one of the modules and it fits right in, no issues to install.

Perfect fit for my Coolermaster Mastercase Maker 5t
Perfect fit for my Coolermaster Mastercase Maker 5t. I did have to remove the "GPU support bar" that comes with the 5t, but I didn't really need it. Bear in mind if you purchase this though, it is specifically for the Mastercase 5 series. I don't think it will fit in their other cases. Great for those that still need to use more than 2 mechanical drives in the Mastercase 5 or Mastercase Maker 5t cases (the other two in the series come with an additional drive cage).

Won't fit in the H500P.
I saw that this item was compatible with the H500P series, so I ordered it. When it arrived I realized it was not going to be easy. It will fit, but you have to turn it sideways, so the access point is facing the PSU, and the cords are near the 200mm fans in the front of the case. You'll have to make your own threaded holes, and to take out/put in HDDs, you'll have to remove your PSU. Good luck!

Very easy to install
Old school PC with modern parts. A total of 10 drives. Very easy to install. Moved up from Cooler Master Storm Scout to Cooler Master Master Case 5 Pro. Being able to add this hard drive cage was the reason I picked that case. Very reasonable price.

Brittle clips, requires some caution to keep from snapping off and breaking permanently, also leaves one bay open
I bought a Cooler Master case several years ago and loved its drive bay. Solid metal, sturdy brackets that don't require screws, and frustratingly, one less set of those rails than I needed to add a fourth drive. So I looked for replacement rails and found that the USA site is down indefinitely, so I turned decided to purchase this in the hopes that it would fit my existing Cooler Master drive bay, in spite of there being no promise that it would, I just needed that drive. When I took it out, I was suprised to find it does requires screws, unsurprised to find it doesn't fit, and very surprised that the fastener broke off with virtually no effort, certainly less effort than I would need to insert sled into the correct bay (the one purchased here). Luckily it's such weak plastic that it bowed a bit and did ultimately 'fit', but if I move the case, I'll need to double check that it hasn't come loose.Ultimately this is a cheap bay not up to the standards set by the ones that come built into the case I purchased years ago, and you need to make sure you push it in at the base, and not at the clips/fasteners, push from the middle and be careful when you extract it. Ideally, just get a different drive bay. Lastly, I'm perplexed that they again only include enough sleds to fill 3 of the four bays. You'll have an empty one for who knows what purpose. That is, unless Cooler Master gets their parts site up and can provide an individual sled.

Works with the Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 3 Micro ATX Mini Tower Case
Cooler Master Accessory- MasterCase Series 3- BAY HDD Cage (3.5")- 3-BAY Holds 3 Hard Drives for Computer CasesPlease note that this HDD cage DOES work with the MasterCase Pro 3 Micro ATX Mini Tower. You just have to move the FreeForm bar over to the left covering the rubber grommets. Works and fits securely just fine. Make sure you route your cables accordingly though.Great way to add 3.5" HDD for my Plex server
