Agree with all the above reviews! My Lexus GX 460 is now a Porsche but reliable & easy to maintain. Best of both worlds. Four settings with 5 different levels giving 20 different setting levels. City is as high as I’ve had it in the neighborhood can’t wait to go to Sport mode. Excellent product.

The Pedal Commander works exactly as advertised. Installation was quick, easy and it has completely changed the character of my 2021 Lexus GX. It has transformed the acceleration from a slug to that of a sports car. This device does not actually add any power, but it remaps the accelerator programming so you don’t have to give it 1/2 throttle just to keep up with traffic. Surprisingly it has not negatively affected the mediocre fuel economy of this vehicle. The only negative is that the adhesive on the Velcro which sticks it to the lower portion of the dash is too weak to hold the control module in place. I had to use different double sided tape to get it to remain in place. While the Pedal Commander is a little pricey, I’m very satisfied and it has made my GX a pleasure to drive.

I had this on my 2013 tacoma and liked it a lot. I decided to install one on my new 2020 GX 460. It made a big difference on the acelleration on take off. It is also great when towing our 23’ Airstream. When you get on a hill there is no lag accelerating up the hill. Easy to install. It does reduce the MPG of the vehicle.

It makes a huge difference with the pedal. My Lexus GX460 is so much more fun to drive! Install was pretty straight forward.

I installed this in a 2021 Lexus GX 460 and after 150 miles I can say it shifts like a passenger car and gets about 1.25 mpg improvement (Sport Mode). The throttle response is excellent and now this thing drives amazingly better. Installation 20 min, and the Bluetooth app for iPhone is flawless.

The title is basically it. Does it make your GX460 feel more responsive? Yep. What does it do? It tricks your GX into thinking you have the pedal pushed down further than it is. Basically, it makes your throttle more responsive. That is all it does. It does not increase your power. It does not alter the tune of your engine at all. Does the eco mode work? Nes. Yo? Sort of? Not really? But yes? It does the exact same thing as the other modes, but backwards. It dulls the throttle response. So it other words, you can have a lead foot and it just won't listen to you. So, your fuel economy will go up. For myself, I would just...you know...not hit the throttle as hard and achieve the same results. However, this would be fantastic for a dumb teenager. My car as a teenager obviously had a throttle cable because I'm old, but if my parents had installed something like this, I would have figured it out instantly. But, if your teen is not so smart, then you can probably make a car safer for them with this thing. It does make the a GX feel quite different. Once again, it's no faster. It's just...more willing to actually accept that you're hitting the throttle. My GX likes to just sit in a high gear forever, even after I floor it. With this, it's not so bad. That's nice, when I want to merge onto the interstate. This does give you the sensation of being faster, even though it isn't. If that's what you want, or you have a teenager with a lead foot, this could be worth it.

Put on my Lexus GX and pedal reaction is amazingly different.
