Great buy!
For the money these are great pedals, my hearing is not the best so it's not worth buying a name brand at five times the price, but what you get is a solid little pedal that sounds excellent and is perfect for the home user. Why pay more just to say that you have this or that name pedal. it's all down to personal taste in the end and if you are happy with what you have got that's all that matters.

Run of the mill
Lots of gain but not a lot of control on the distortion. There are better low-cost pedals around that provide this type of effect.

I purchased 4
I purchased 4 x Dyna compressors.I already have them installed in the synth section of my music room.I've been using them for drum samples and synth sounds.I also have the Crunch and Ultimate pedals as well. They're great pedals especially for the price.I may get some more.

Not for me
Good price, nice built but the sound was not what I was looking for. Maybe good for others.

Fantastic value for money
Most underrated drive pedal I've used. It's a bit harder to dial in a tone but with a bit of fiddling this on the pedal on my guitar knobs I can get such a great crisp tone with a bit of crunch.

Surprisingly good.
Is this really and "Ultimate Drive"? No, of course not. It's a surprisingly passable OCD (I guess) style overdrive for very little money. The tone is good, even at higher gain, and the controls have reasonable range and sensitivity. I'd describe the sound as aggressively gritty in a good way. Not as smooth as a Klon or Tubescreamer style OD but not as full of angry bees as a RAT or MT-2 style pedal. Certainly worth a punt.
