We’ve had a great time with these little plants. We grew and transplanted 2, so we ordered a third. The third was moldy, but the seller was very nice and sent a new one. The new one is great! Love watching these little guys grow!

I bought 3 of these and sent one to my sister and one to my son and one to me. The one my sister got was moldy when she got it and it was replaced. the replacement did fine until it was time to transplant it and it died. Mine did fine until it came time to plant it as well and it died. The one my son got did well at first and then got moldy and died. This is a fun idea, but they just don't live sadly.

I was nervous when I saw how tiny this plant was in the jar. At first, I was disappointed... But the last month I've been super happy with its growth. The venus flytrap has been increasing in size more and more each day. It's been fun. I can't want for stage 2 when I get to take it out of the jar.

It's sooooo smol! I love it though. My son was learning about carnivorous plants and this was cute to receive.

So water started gathering in the glass which liquified the gel and then the plant just started to die too but I don’t think the water inside had anything to do with that…I live in NY so it was COLD @christmas.

This is a nice way to grow a Venus Fly trap, and a very easy-to-care-for gift for a child (or an man-child who's really into carnivorous plants ;) ) The glass bottle is sealed, and therefore needs no care or intervention (other than indirect sunlight) for at least 3-4 months. After that you need to open up the bottle to add soil, which can be a little tricky - the cork was really stuck in tightly in mine, so I had to use a corkscrew to remove it. Luckily, you don't need the cork again. The instructions do guide you all the way up to the final transplant into the second included container, but it would be nice if there was some general "care and feeding" instructions for the plant after this. This is a minor nit, though, and the whole growth/transplant process is a fun way to 'interact' with the plant as it grows.

This is a video I just recently took. I’ve had my flytrap since November 2023 and I transplanted it right after this. I want to say I really appreciate the instructions that came with the plant and the extra container and soil tabs. Really is beginner friendly. Excited to continue seeing my flytrap progress.
