This was a great product and was able to give me the look I was going for after watching some YouTube videos!

We dressed up at work for Halloween and I decided to be a mime. I applied the makeup at 6 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. it still looked great! It was easy to use and there is so much product that we could have painted an entire army of mimes. Easily removed with a bit of coconut oil and soap.

This was the first time I used face paint. Some notions to keep in mind:1) It was easy to clean off my skin using wet wipes or soap and water. And, at least for me, the paint didn't cause any irritation. It didn't crack, and I didn't feel uncomfortable wearing it for ~6 hours straight.2) Applying the paint was a little difficult. It has a consistency similar to oil pastels, so it was a little hard to get a good non-translucent layer. Using the brushes from the set wasn't helpful, as the paint didn't come off them. The same happened when I tried using a makeup sponge. So, at least for me, the easiest way to apply this paint was just using my fingers.3) On the bright side, it mixes perfectly well! It was just what I needed to get a gray skin for a Halloween costume.4) Be careful and try not to get your clothes dirty with this thing. I suppose it has an oil base, which makes it harder to wash out.

I was asked to be one of the tents at a 'Trunk or Treat' event, so we picked Coco. So as I always do, I turned to Amazon for my supplies. I purchased this for my son. It was so easy to apply, stayed on the entire event with my son running around, and the colors were vibrant. I really wanted this to work, but unfortunately it didn’t stay on more than an hour or so. Goes on smoothly and you can build it up. I even used some setting powder, but that didn’t work either. I had to keep touching it up all night, which was kind of a pain. If I just rubbed my face or scratched my nose, all of the white paint came off as you can see from the picture around my nose and mouth. This is how it looked most of the evening. It would be a great product if it just stayed put!!

I received this product under the partial assumption that it would be more like the majority of face paints you see here and there that just don't hold up too well throughout long hours of the day but I was very much wrong!This face paint holds up incredibly well, especially if you use a fair amount of setting powder to preserve it throughout the day. It never dripped or faded away while I was out and about cosplaying at a huge convention. Despite all the shuffling around and the crazy heat we've been getting lately, the paint held up.Unfortunately, even with the setting powder in place, if you were to go and bump your face or wherever you have the paint on, it will come off onto your hand or even any article of clothing you may have with your whole outfit. While thankfully this didn't cause my makeup to look smudged or wiped off, it still creates a mess for anything that could come into contact with the paint!Getting it all off was the toughest part. At the time, I unfortunately didn't have any makeup removal wipes and I don't believe that they would've worked too well anyways but, it took about an hour long shower before I could tell that the majority of the facepaint had finally been washed off. I was using CeraVe facial cleaner for more context and it took a lot of that to get everything off. You'll at least know that'll it'll hold up for the next time you use it but you'll absolutely have to mentally prepare yourself for the facial scrubbing of your life when it's time to clean up!Overall, it's 100% worth the purchase! But definitely get setting powder to help seal your face paint especially if you're a convention goer like I am! You'll absolutely need that too with this paint!

Good stuff, goes on thick, easy coverage, stays on, used with the setting powder - stayed on even with lots of sweating through a rock performance. Comes with brushes and I used sponges. You can get many many applications out of this set. Much much better than the cream paint. Love it. I'm not even the best make up artist either.

I interact with makeup perhaps once a year, depending on my Halloween costume. I shared this with friends who have far more experience than I, and they seemed to think this was a significantly better product than others they’d bought, despite this being less expensive. I used it and gave it away, but it served my purpose and I trust the judgement of others in this regard.
