It was a gift that I bought for my son. He loves it
I can say that when my son told me he needed a Toaster oven, it took (literally, no joke) 2 week to decide which, what, who, etc. As he lives 3,000 miles away. After careful consideration &a LOT of reading, I sent him a Toaster oven AND A BURNER as he has a gas stove and is afraid to use them. He was so surprised when he got the burner that he hasn't used the toaster oven yet because he LOVES the burner.Thank you for your awesome burner per ' SkyLord ' (Sky my little man Starkey 👨

What's not to like
Very short review because everything about this product is outstanding. It's just what the doctor ordered. Does everything that it's supposed to and more. I've been using it now for about a month and never any problems with it. It's well built and easy to use. I live in an assisted living facility so my space is limited but this unit fits right in. And it's easy to maintain so if you are looking for a good quality reasonably priced Induction Cooker this is your best bet.

Works well if you don't need lower temps
You only know what you know, so I was taking a chance buying this while we were waiting for our stove to be fixed. There are two things I had difficulty doing with this burner - getting a lower temperature when I needed a sauce to simmer a little lower AND getting a large pot to boil. I did learn that it's important for the pan/pot to be smooth on the bottom, as well as magnetic. Our stovetop is working again, but I'm still using this burner. For example, I was making something in a saute pan on the stovetop and needed to boil some potatoes. The burners for this would be side by side on my stovetop, so to give myself elbow room I boiled the potatoes on the burner. All-in-all it was worth the price. I may still get a regular burner (as opposed to induction) for boiling a big pot of water since the big pot is magnetic but doesn't have a completely flat bottom.

It's Amazing
I am not an expert but I just can't believe how amazing this thing is. I use this with a 10 inch Copper Chef pan and I just can't believe how fast it got hot. I had only just turned it on for less than 30 seconds and it was already hot enough to fry an egg. I don't know if it was the pan I was using or the device itself but I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great portable induction cooktop for a reasonable price. As far as the Copper Chef pan (If you are interested) I purchased it at Walmart. Cooper Chef pans are compatible with all cooktops and is sold on retail for a reasonable price.

77 days after purchase, cannot sear meat
This is my second identical SunMaki induction burner that I purchased from Amazon. I paid $69.99. Our family was happy with the functionality and design of the first. Sadly, SunMaki lacks in consistency, quality, and customer service.I purchased a second SunMaki because we already had one that my dad had learned to use so wanted the same one so he wouldn’t have to re-learn different settings. If you don’t use temperature, the setting controls are not standardized in induction burners so there’s a bit of a learning curve. The good is that our SunMaki induction burner number 1 still works great for searing, stirfrying, and cooking low and long. The design is simple and easy to clean. The teal display is very readable even in our sunny kitchen for my dad.My issue is only with the newest one we purchased. It could’ve malfunctioned earlier than this because it’s the cooktop on the shelf for when we want 2 burners going. We noticed at 77 days past our purchase, it started malfunctioning and stopped reaching high temperatures. The 1800 boil function and settings lower all work at about 400 level. It now takes an excruciatingly long time to boil water (longer than an electric stove) and won’t reach high enough temperatures to stir fry or sear meat. Yes our pans are magnetic, we use the same pans on both burners and one stovetop works like a champ and the second we’ve relegated to being a bean slowcooker.Too bad for our family that we didn’t test it more regularly. It hasn’t yet been 90 days but is out of the return window according to amazon customer service. Amazon isn’t as lenient on its returns as it once was, so as buyers we must be more aware in our purchases.$69.99 lost. As for us, I’m going back to established brands I know with customer service and warranties and I’m going to reteach my dad the new settings on a different set of induction burners. Don’t buy this burner!

Works Great for my Purpose
This portable induction hot plate functions perfectly! The first time I used it, I placed a 10" cast iron pan on it and turned it on. I walked 15 feet away to get cooking oil and by the time I returned, the pan was smoking hot!. That was at the default setting of 1200 watts. I've used it three times, and have been impressed by it's performance. I'm new to induction cooking, so it will be a learning process. I use this item for outdoor cooking, along side my grill. I would recommend this item for anyone who cooks outdoors or is limited in kitchen space! AAA+++.

Handy
I am thing of getting an induction range but wasn’t sure if I would like it. Since I was having my kitchen remodeled and would be out of a stove for a few weeks, I purchased this burned to try. So far I have really like the speed it has heating up foods, I am still learning to adjust the temperature down because of how quickly it heats up the food in the pan. I will say it works better on pans that are slightly heavier than the inexpensive ones.

I love this product!
I bought two of these induction cooktops to use in my fifth wheel RV. I don't like using propane, so these were my solution! They've both performed perfectly every time I've used them. I'd recommend them, and it gives you an excuse to buy new cookware. ☺
