Dynalink Android TV Box, Android 10 Support 4K HDR Smart Streaming Media Player

It is a great device that is nice and fast to use. The only issue is as it was made for USA it won't let you install UK on demand apps like BBC iPlayer or utv hub. Otherwise a great device.

We have a small TV in the kitchen used for "emergencies" - cooking a meal but don't want to miss a show? Big TV being used? Ironing? Got you covered. The only downside, until recently, was that you couldn't do anywhere near as much with it as the Big Tv, since it wasn't a smart TV.Thanks to this little device, it's been resolved!Now, don't get me wrong, I don't watch the TV much, this has been a tool for my parents, and therefore the comments in this review are simply things I've been told. They seem really pleased with it, as they can access some of the programs and features that they previously couldn't, and it means that there's no more struggles with missing / disagreeing on what shows. It doesn't take up much room either, which is always a bonus!

I'll pre-face this review by saying that I am not, in general, an android user. This means that the little quirks, that each interface has, were new to me in the terms of android use and without clear instructions, which this does not come with(!), that was a battle in itself.Overall, this TV box works similar to others that have come before it - Apple TV, Fire stick - but is androids version. I worked out how to set it up because I've used those before, but I'll say again, the instructions are poor. Once set up, and it did take me a while, its somewhat easy to navigate, likely easier for android users, especially with the related app, but straightforward enough.You get a lot with this that works really well and for older TVs that do not have advanced functionality, this is great - I'll be using it in the dining room as the TV in there is a little older and therefore didn't have access to Netflix, etc. otherwise. However, there is a lot that does not seem to work, no matter how hard I try. For instance, I can't access BBC iPlayer on this. This makes me think, for the price, you may as well buy a competing product that, at least in my experience, gives access to everything. Plus, I found this could be a little slow and delayed at times.All in all, this works, it does the job, and gives access to a lot on TVs that do not have access to streaming services. But as I said, if I were to purchase another device like this, I'd likely go with the other brands - android has still not won me over!

So I have nonariel.in my room.so have been using a stick for years so with the chance to try something different i was keen to try.The set up for this was mega easy the whole process from taking it out the box to been fully up and running was probably less than 20 minutes.Once all plugged in I used my hey Google on my phone to set up the device and that found the box and connected it to my Google account and WiFi just had to click next a couple of times.Then the box took care of the rest.It updated itself then reset I had to select language and agree to a few terms and conditions but there it was ready to use.Netflix/disney+/amazon video are my 3 main apps and they all logged in no problem.I found I could cast videos from my phone onto my TV.I could use a qr code to log into amazon video instead of coming thru the process of typing in passwords and log-ins.Picture is clear no lagging so signal is strongHey Google voice control is simple to use to control opening apps and searching for things.The one press button to netflix on the remote a great lazy button to have added points for that.And lastly once I was logged into my viewing apps my continue watching lists were showing up on main screen overall im about 97% happy woth this deviceThe cons thoPrice is a bit steepThe plug cable could be longer I've had to move an extension to get it to reach.You can't get all apps on this device for example I sometimes use BBC iplayer this in not comptable/availible.And lastly I have still yet to work out how to get the remote to work with my TV. It controls the box fine but won't power down my TV its a small thing but just awqward having to use another remote just to power TV on and offThese small thing are why I can't give the full 5 stars. But as a simple user of this I am happy with most of what this device does

This very small box of tricks has opened up a whole tribe of new channels on my 5 year old UHD smart tv.I now feel a little foolish re-contracting to sky television for another 18 months only last month.I am discovering more and more this tiny little box can do every time I use it, best of all, almost all of what I have found so far is on here is free to air!I can find films and TV channels that are of far more interest to me than the regular TV channels, tonight I found a whole new collection of channels through the Pluto tv app and can see a good few evenings evaporating watching Charlie Borman's race to Dakar, which is on right now!There are dozens of channels I have never even heard of and am looking forward to viewing.In a way it is just like the early satellite tv channels, the excitement of finding something new, I love it!It works well with Netflix and Prime loading and playing perfectly well enough for our needs.I thought I would be looking to use Kodi on this to widen our availability of films but have decided against it for the time being at least because there is so much to look at on it without going to far from the beaten path. It is good to know it is there should I decide to learn how to use it though.This is a whole new world of entertainment for a very modest outlay! HTH
