The stool was easy to assemble..as long as you've done stuff like this before. It adjusts up and down with ease and it's very sturdy and looks nice. I'm very happy with it and the price.

I have experience assembling many furniture pieces such as rocking chairs, dinner tables/chairs, desks, bookcases, armchairs, drawers, and more. Assembling this stool was very difficult for me, it was really horrible!

First semi-comfortable seat I could find for drafting, or for doing almost anything else from a sitting position, since it's flat, sturdy, and height-adjustable.The first one started wobbling after about a year of daily use. The wobbling began where the central metal rod had been fused to the circular metal plate as one piece.Fortunately--after I'd gotten another of these stools in the beech color and then read the enclosed Meeden product warranty--their customer service team responded to my e-mail within a few days. The agent was friendly and accommodating, offering a whole new stool when the replacement part I'd needed wasn't available. It came within a week of my confirming that I wanted it.The photos show the broken walnut stool being used as a coffee table and footrest (not sure if I'll end up keeping it for that or not), the newer beech stool, and the replacement walnut stool with the lifetime warranty.I wish there were also a version of this with height-adjustable armrests and a 90-degree, upright backrest. This minimal stool is useful for many things, though, and can fit into narrow spaces thanks to the tripod-style legs.

I was expecting natural wood per marketing of this product. It's wood laminate, NOT wood. It looks nice, though. Beautiful design but, as others have pointed out, not sturdy at all (even when at low setting). Definitely cannot use on the flattest carpet even. (Wobbly even on hard floor.) And it swivels by itself when you're on it. There's no mechanism to lock it in place so that it doesn't move when you're sitting on it.

This stool is sturdy, stylish, and super comfortable. The adjustable height feature is perfect for working at different desks or easels, and the wooden design adds a touch of class to my studio. Assembly was quick and easy, taking just a few minutes. Highly recommend it for artists or anyone needing a versatile stool.

Un poco baja y aguanta solamente 250 lbs.

Purchased to go with the one of the Meeden Easels. The stool adjusts for the height for whomever is using it. The stool is heavy duty and easily puts together. I did notice some tool marks and small dents on some of the wood parts. I did not take away a star because of those dents and marks because everything else on it was good.
