Gemini SOSP8BLK Gemini Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker 420W

I bought this speaker instead of putting a lot of money into my 1992 pontoon boat stereo system. The pluses are it is portable, waterproof, and sounds great. It is a little heavy (@25 lbs) but overall is really sturdy and has nice features. We'll use it elsewhere when we want to have great sound and another system isnt available.

Speakers blew after less than a year. I was quite gentile with this speaker. It never got dropped, wet, or played at max volume. I expected this to last 4 years. The way it's advertised it should be indestructible. Poor durability and poor sound quality. Just get a JBL. They can't float but they sound way better and last way longer. Gemini is garbage for the price. This speaker also lacks low range sound so if you want bass it's not for you. JBL has much better low range and more clear sound at higher volumes. It isn't hard to make a good speaker with today's tech, Gemini just chose not to.

This is a great speaker. Sounds great, battery lasts all day on the lake at full volume, Bluetooth has a good range. BUT…. Don’t let it float on water. I read the reviews and tried anyway, started taking on water at the bottom seem and stopped working. Luckily I was able to get a replacement.

It fits in my bike trailer perfectly. Giving that thunderous sound. I’ve always been into sounds in my car. So I searched for Bluetooth capability and waterproof plus amplification. This product is light but punches like a car system. I linked Bluetooth in 30 seconds after unboxing and turnt it str8 all the way up. I’m a producer so hearing my own music through this system gives confidence to promote the way I planned. This is my story why I bought this and like what I bought.

Bought this product to use at our houseboat as an outdoor speaker! Great sound and easy to hook up to your phone! Also works great connecting to a 2nd speaker for even more sound. After reading several reviews i will avoid floating it in the lake and ive had issues ( out of the box) with the backdoor (teather connecting door to speaker doesnt stay snapped making me worry il loose the door if the wrong person opens it) but lighting and sounds are great and speaker lasts for several hours even with bass boosr going.

Honestly I love all the products I have purchased but this stereo is in a class of its own! When I wanted to find a waterproof speaker, the were all fairly small and weird looking. This speaker is huge and WATERPROOF with cup holders. The sound quality is insane, it’s bumps! Absolutely love this purchase 🤘🤘

This was pretty great for about 8 months, until the speakers blew and the company refused to honor their 1 year warranty.

First off I loved this thing for about the first 8 months. Then the battery life started to be terrible and I reached out to customer service right at the 1 year mark after I obtained it. Needless to say it completely stopped working and customer service will not help at all if you are past their 1 year warranty mark. Gemini support does not care about their customers and I will never buy another Gemini Sound product ever again! Find a company that offers a better warranty and better customer service!
