Jacquard Cyanotype Pretreat Mural Fabric, 5 x 7 Feet

I don’t do huge cyanotypes but it is cost effective to cut smaller sections off of this. The fabric works every time and is a fun hobby! Deciding what items to use next is the biggest obstacle!

I used this in my class to do a class photogram - excellent - we have a huge sink in the darkroom, not sure how one would wash it otherwise - but it looks amazing and people ask me all the time how it was done, Very deep blue color (with hydrogen peroxide after wash) and excellent fabric - but this is a famous, the most famous fabrics company in the world, so expected good quality. They also make ink jet fabrics....

This worked exactly as I imagined and we already want to do it again. Highly recommend.

I Misread the size and thought I was getting precut 5x7 sheets when it was one large 5 x 7 ft piece. I have to cut it into the size I wanted which worked but when you have grandkids that are anxious to create project they aren't always patient. We still have fun with it.

I was so excited to use this pre-treated fabric for an art piece. $40 is a large sum of money for a product that gave "meh" results. I followed the directions carefully and set a timer for 20 minutes and laid the objects and myself on the cloth. I was under direct bright sunlight. The company should run more tests and alter the directions on the package.

I cut the fabric in a dark closet in two pieces- ive made my own fabric for printing before, but this was to be a gift. Needless to say...after doing everything i could to produce a print.. i ended up with nothing but a mess and would really appreciate a refund.
