Color:Pink AvoSeedo is a small plastic bowl that features an indentation with a hole in it. A single avocado seed can be inserted with the flat end facing down. Afterwards, AvoSeedo can be placed in a sufficiently large, water-filled pot. Due to its low weight and high displacement, AvoSeedo will remain at the surface all the time; as the water level lowers, AvoSeedo will sink accordingly. Only from time to time you will have to check the water level of the pot containing AvoSeedo plus avocado seed. Not Impressed, Doesnt Work

I have a fairly good amount of avocado trees just from the toothpick method and have no problems growing them...BUT I can tell you i been using the Avoseedo for MANY, MANY months and i have yet to see one sprout. Its a good concept but the design is super bulky and doesn't allow proper light to hit the seed because of the walls. Save yer money and do the toothpick method.

Hey, this really speeded sprouting from an avocado pit!

The sturdy little "boat" is well designed--floats perfectly in a shallow dish of water, cradling the pit at the perfect upright angle. No need to puncture the pit in the old toothpick dupport method, potentially cracking the pit and damaging hope of starting a plant. With this AvoSeedo bowl, I have a nice, healthy root forming after about five weeks.

Best Product Ever!!!

I'm in love with this product!!! I've only been able to successfully grow one avocado tree in my life, and now I can FINALLY increase that number!!! This particular seed had been left out on the counter for probably 2-3 weeks. It was all shrivelled and gross looking. I had no hope for it, but I took off the outer shell, put it pointy side up in the boat and left it alone for about a month with only a couple water changes. IT ACTUALLY STARTED TO ROOT!! I'm so excited! I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I would say I have a mostly green thumb when it comes to gardening and even with my longtime experience the avocado tree has evaded me until now!

It really works!

I bought with hesitation at my garden growing daughter's request. We've tried the cheap and easy route to get avocado seeds to grow and it just never worked. This produced her first ever sprouted avocado seed! It took a lot of waiting but it still looks amazing and healthy and we are very excited that we may actually get an avocado tree in the future.

Boat sank but seed grew!

As you can see I’ve had success with this little boat! I was surprised my patience paid off and we have a little avocado plant. We used a seed from a larger avocado which actually sank the boat but just keeping the water about halfway up the seed has worked just the same as it floating.

Cannot get my avocado pit to sprout

My sister-in-law bought this and had great luck getting her pit to sprout, planted it and started an avocado tree. I followed the instructions to the T and my pit did nothing. Bummer. Will try again and hope to have better luck.

Great little toy for Momma

Great little toy for Momma. Took my plant about 3 months to actually start growing but is now in it's own pot and growing nicely. Would recommend the large avocado seeds for this and lots of patience. Changing the water weekly is a must.

No Tree Yet

I bought the product at least two months ago and put the avocado seed in the boat, am still waiting for a tree. The seed has split but no tree yet. In my opinion, waste of money.
