2387 Pro Filter Replacement – 1 Filter Pack, Black

These work great, but I wish they would warn us that they are full of water.

Since ProOne is shutdown, this filter fits perfectly in my Traveller. Filtration is actually faster than G3.0 Water taste is great!

I purchased my system one year ago with two filters. The filters are still working delivering perfect tasting water in Miami Florida. I filter approximately two gallons of water per day. The only thing I've noticed is that the filtration rate has decreased substantially over the year. It just takes longer for the filters to filter an entire system's worth of water which is 2.25 gallons of water. I fill the system each morning before going to work and have pure filtered water for the next day. I switched from Zero Water to Alexapure because I believe that Alexapure removes more contaminants and has a higher filtration capacity (i.e. lower cost). Running the numbers, I used to spend $15 a month for Zero Water filters which approximates what two Alexapure filters cost me in a year's time however, the Alexapure filters are rated for 5,000 gallons which calculates out to 6.85 years at my daily rate of filtration (i.e. 5000 gallons / 365 days per year x 2 Gallons Per Day). Therefore, Alexapure should cost me 1/7 or only 14% of what it used to cost me using Zero Water filters assuming I keep my filters for 7 years. My filters probably just need a good exterior cleaning to increase their flow rate back to normal. I will be interested to know if these filters really will last me 7 years at 2 gallons per day before I have to replace them.

I tried third party replacement filters and the water didn’t taste as good.

I've had my Alexapure filter system for 3 years.These filters work! Once you get used to drinkingthe filtered water, tap water smells and tastes can'tbe tolerated.

Don't know what the story is with these and this seller.The filters were pre primed as usual but the water level was really low.They weren't working.I contacted Alexapure customer support and they gave me a few options.The one that worked was to put them update down in water up to the opening and let them sit for 72 hours for the air bubbles to come out.At least they are partially working, but still not quite right.Don't know if they are conterfits, or were just improperly stored, or if they are old.Note this seller nor any on Amazon are an authorized reseller (as the Alexapure CS related to me).Was a hassle, will probably have to replace them in a month or two.Really felt ripped off with this one.

For those saying they got a used filter, the filters come in a sealed bag that has water in it because the filter must always remain wet. Our first filter lasted a little less than 2 years, refilling the Alexapure about one time per day. Great value.

This is the best water filtering system money can buy. Yes, the complete unit is expensive, but it is 100% better than bottled water sold at stores or any of the plastic water units on the market. The filter is expensive. It seems it could be sold somewhat cheaper. That’s my only complaint. However, the filter does last for a very long time, depending, of course, how much needs to be used every day. It can last up to 8 months or 3 years. It is still cheaper than buying bottled water or replacing the plastic pitcher’s filters so often. I use this water to make my coffee every day & allows for a really flavorful cup. Shipping takes a few days but it is worth it in the long run.
