A Really Nice Bag for EDC...
This is a well-designed, excellent quality product. If you are in the market for a medium-sized (12L) tactical-style cross-body bag, Vanquest's Mobius 2.0 is definitely worth considering. I own similar items from other manufacturers (Maxpedition, 5.11 Tactical, Hazard 4) and this one compares well. I will share a few thoughts below to hopefully help you in making your own buying choice.Firstly, there is an excellent You Tube review / comparison of this bag and it's little brother, the Tolcat 2.0 posted by Gideon'sTactical. It will help you to know what will (or won't) fit in each of those bags. That helped me a lot as I considered both options. I prefer to "travel light" when it comes to my personal EDC (smaller generally being better), but I was persuaded to get the larger bag even so.As I stated earlier, the Mobius's build quality is excellent. Materials are top-notch and the stitching is great. I chose to get one of the camo-patterned bags because these come with 600D Cordura (rather than the heavier 1000D for the solid colors). The lighter fabric has a softer "hand" and saves a few ounces. I own another Vanquest bag (a Javelin 2.0) in the heavier material, so it was an informed choice. You really can't go wrong either way.The Mobius can accommodate a full-frame pistol in its CCW compartment, though I think smaller would be better. You could also slide in a full sized iPad. My Galaxy Tab 10.5s (with case) barely fits. The main compartment comfortably swallows the aforementioned Galaxy Tab. It's practical dimensions are 10"x7.5"x4.5". The are internal slip pockets front and rear, but only very slender items will fit. My big tablet, for example, won't. But you can cram enough stuff in there to seriously weigh down the bag. I have a small med/grooming kit and 10,000 ma charger resting at the bottom which leaves plenty of room for a windbreaker and ball cap.The front pocket has several elastic straps that will organize pens, multitools, etc. It also features a shock-cord matrix on the inside-front panel to accommodate large or odd-shaped items. There is a rear slip pocket that can hold my Amazon Fire 7" tablet. Full dimensions are 8"x6"x1.5."On the left and right are two identical side pockets, rounded at the top with practical dimensions of 7"x3.5"x1.5." They (for example) can easily hold eyeglasses in a hard shell case. Each includes an internal slip pocket. Behind both of these side pockets (between them and the main compartment) is a slim cavity that is open at the top. On one side a zipper runs the full vertical length. Pull it down and you instantly have a generous water bottle holder. It WILL fit a traditional 32 oz. nalgene, but you'll trade away a lot of space in the adjoining side pocket. A slimmer bottle would be a better choice.Atop the main compartment on the messenger-style flap is a felt-lined pouch that seems intended for a phone. My LG G2 in an armored case fits with room to spare. I estimate the usable space to be 6"x3,5"x.5".There are a few other clever spaces and features to the bag, but I won't outline them here. I mostly want to give you a general idea about its utility and quality. I will note that the ubiquitous bright orange interior lining is a great for visibility, and the neoprene covered carrying handle is one of my favorite things about the Mobius 2.0.I do have a couple minor criticisms. First, I've never liked the locking SRB on the shoulder strap. Vanquest put the same one on my Javelin sling bag. It makes opening the strap an unnecessarily two-handed operation (however there IS a way to defeat the lock mechanism). Second, the Velcro tabs that hold the shoulder strap to the bag are an unrefined, cheesy way to go. It would have been much better for the manufacturer to sew in steel D-rings and add swivels and clips to the strap. Everything else on this bag is first class. To clarify, the strap and shoulder pad are good quality, it's just the attachment point where I take issue.I hope this review helps anyone who is considering this bag, There are others out there that are similar and excellent as well. Maxpedition's new Wolfspur looks great but will set you back another 50 bucks or so. However, the shoulder strap on that bag should be the template for every new cross-body messenger on the market. One final bit of advice: If you are planning on carrying more than 7 or 8 pounds (including the weight of the bag) it might be wise to consider a sling bag or small backpack over this cross-body style. With a bag like the Mobius, all the weight you are carrying will eventually find its' way to the junction of your neck and shoulder, and, in my experience, going over that amount gets uncomfortable. I keep my EDC load at 6-7 pounds. I also swapped the manufacturer's strap for an Op/Tech SOS neoprene shoulder strap with curved pad that I've previously used on similar bags.I HIGHLY recommend it. All you need to buy (in addition to the Op/Tech) are a couple 2" D-rings to modify the Mobius' attachment points. You will smile at the positive difference in comfort.Good luck in your search for the perfect bag. I hope this review helps.

Well made, fully ambi bag or purse for organization lovers.
I love this bag. I scoured the different bag sites and manufacturers and youtube reviews for a purse with organization geared towards preparedness.I knew I wanted a sling type bag, but hate that 99% of them can only be carried left or right shoulder. Sometimes I need to switch how I'm carrying because of shoulder and back issues and this and the polecat were the only two bags I found that are truly ambidextrous.Everything on the left side, exists in the same place on the right. For me, that is everything.I was a little disappointed that the plain colors didn't come in the 500D material and definitely kind of bummed that the 500D cost *more* than the 1000D bags. So I had to pay extra and get the muted camo for the less stiff fabric. I've had the bag for several months now and it is holding up just fine. I don't see any issues with the thinner fabric and all the seams and zippers are still perfect.I love the ccw compartment placement and the front pouch having their med style pouch built in to the front.I'm glad I didn't get the smaller polecat because this has been the perfect size for me.If you have the money, and also need the full ambidextrous platform this offers, you won't be disappointed.

Makes a good Hipster purse
At first glance this bag looks like a $30 surplus tactical bag. The material is very flimsy which requires two hands to zip/unzip compartments. Like other complaints (in this thread) regarding compartments taking interior space from adjoining compartments, this is ESPECIALLY true with 500D model. I put a 16 oz can in water bottle pocket and could feel it intruding into main compartment. Pockets near shoulder strap attach points share the CCW compartment...leaving nice access for water, dirt and etc to enter. The glowing vanquest mobius 2.0 reviews showing hipsters stuffing bag full of baby wipes , make up , sporks and other “gear” all gave glowing reviews. Makes you wonder if these are paid reviews. It’s no where near the quality of the Wolfspur. This bag should MSRP for $30-$40 as its still usable by bearded hipsters doing metro activities.
