Is this product made in china?

I would assume, I didn't look. Sony's controller is made in China just like almost everything else in the gaming world.

I bought the shell thinking all ps4 controllers aer the same but i feel like the sehll i got doesn't fit. is model number cuh-zct1u compatible??????

No. It might fit but won't feel right or look like it's properly assembled you need cuh-zct2u or second generation dualshock 4 controllers easy way to tell difference between gen1 and gen 2 is on the top of the touch pad block for Feb 2 you should be able to see the light bar THROUGH the top portion of the touch screen block on your controller. On gen 1 controllers you can't.

does this fit the 055?

I don’t have the blue and purple one but I have the blue textured one and it fits my controller great.i do know that the chameleon color has two models and they each fit different controller models so I would recommend reading the description for both, if that helps.

Wil this work with a pro ps4 shell

Not sure, please refer to the second picture of the product, take apart the controller to confirm the model number. This product is only compatible with PS4 controller JDM-040/050/055.

I love this product definitely would buy again! Once you watch the video it was easy to take out everything and put everything together. Before I bought this product, I was checking the reviews about this product and I seen some bad reviews but honestly, don’t listen to the bad reviews. This makes my hands not slip when I’m hard gaming on call of duty and Fortnite. I have this for a couple weeks now and it still feels amazing in my hands so definitely would recommend!

It wasn't too hard to put on, just had a bit of trouble getting my stock shell off at first. Took me about 5 mins to get it all together and it thankfully worked fine. Was my first time doing this to a dualshock 4 as well. So the cover itself looks a bit ugly, the texture is pretty gross to be honest lol, but it feels great and that's all I cared about. I'm a satisfied customer. I just wish there was a soft rubber texture like the Xbox One Elite controller has for the dualshock 4.

I bought this along with a front panel as my dog chewed on my original one. Still trying to see if it will work with another 3d party front panel. Seems to be giving me some functionality issues but it’s 2 different design n company. Worked great for a month then some buttons weren’t working. I’ll have to take it all apart and re assemble it again and see if that helps if not I’ll be back to edit this posting

Bought this for my gold controller. Mine is the 055 model. Fit perfectly. Not sure what it actually is but feels like it's made of silicone. Its comfortable, soft and gives a better grip. Screwdriver it came with was cheap so I used my own. Also not sure how good the screws are I used the original ones. Easy enough to install but you will have to transfer the back light and charging port to it. But its simple enough
