Bought this to hook my Star Wars Millenium Falcon to my mute laptop over the 3.5mm jack (laptop without bluetooth). It works fine although I wish the cord was slightly longer. There are no instructions attached so I don't know if the full sized USB connector next to the jack is for charging only or if it works as regular USB cable.

This works GREAT with an iHome iBT70 speaker. The original cable/cord that came with my speaker had frayed and was no longer working. I wanted to find a replacement. I often find it difficult to figure out how to buy the right cable/cord, but after studying the options, this looked like the correct match, and I'm happy to say it is! The sound is excellent. And perhaps an obvious tip...if using this speaker for both bluetooth devices and wired-in devices, one needs to shut the bluetooth off on any nearby devices for the wired-in device to work. I'm really happy that I can continue using this speaker with this inexpensive replacement cable/cord. I've used it almost daily for about a month and a half and have had no problems.

I bought this product because I wanted a replacement cord for my mini speaker - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0082E9K7U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - my Y cord that plugs in to charge said speaker & also connect it to sound devices was becoming flimsy and I have to really wiggle it just to keep sound flowing through, but I don't want to do that because I think it only makes thin cords like that wear down. However, once I got this replacement cord, I test it only to find that although it plugs in just fine, and indeed it does work... the sound output is absolutely TERRIBLE. My speaker is fully charged, but I have to MAX the volume on it AND my music device, THEN literally put it up against my ear just to listen to the song playing.. and it still sounds like the song is barely whispering. Could it be my speaker then? That could be asked, but... it isn't. My previous cord that came with the speaker still can make sound blast from it even though it's old when I try it out. Nope, my speaker works fine. Very disappointed with whatever is causing this replacer cord to not function as well. I don't know why. By my understanding, it ought to work just as well as my original cord.

I bought this to replace a cable that I lost a while back for one of my Bluetooth speakers. The charging aspect of the cable works fine, but the AUX aspect is really iffy. For some reason I need to bend the cable (not the micro-usb plug) in a certain way to get it to play audio through the speaker. I’m not sure if I got a defective cord, but it’s still an annoying trait for a new cable.
