Cuts well, so far. Good general use compact tool to keep in my desk and one in my car. Though somewhat an overkill, the cover is also handy for when taking along the scissors for extra safeguard in harsh environment. And just me, I like fat blades—feels hardy.

My eighth grade son keeps these in a zippered pouch in his notebook he takes to school. They are great because they have a cover on them preventing puncturing. They scissors are the perfect size for travel and larger hands.

So these are excellent travel scissors. They are more compact than kitchen scissors but still big enough for almost any utility task. The blade fit is good and seems sturdy. Great cutters.The sheath really stays on, which can works to protect back packs, purses, etc. Honestly, these are the best of this kind of item we've tried. There is only one issue. The sheath requires a little bit of strength and coordination to get on and off. So it might be challenging for younger children or people with hand issues like arthritis. Otherwise, totally recommended.
