Works as expected. Normal tap water temperatures will not cause a shape change; water has to be boiling.

You get a tiny amount of wire. We cut off a 3" piece, bent it all up, dropped it into water that was boiling seconds prior, and it pops back into shape instantly. If the water cools even a little, then the wire does not return to its original shape. So... - You get only a little bit of wire (5 feet as advertised, not the roll in the product picture) - Your water has to be very near boiling to snap the wire back to its original straight configuration

I have enjoyed working with this material, my students have learnt a lot from the different experiment we can do with it.

Pro tip: use good quality wire cutters when cutting nitinol wire to appropriate length. Broke my cheap set of cutters sizing the 12 ga wire.

Es lo que esperaba . llegó en el tiempo anunciado. Cuidad la manipulación en calibres delgados porque tras algunas manipulaciones y temperatura, se rompe con facilidad. Pero no es culpa de ningún defecto de material.
