🪄 Transform your cutting board, transform your kitchen!
The Hasegawa Cutting Board Scraper is a dual-sided, ergonomically designed tool made in Japan to restore and maintain cutting boards of wood, rubber, resin, and soft plastics. Its rough side removes tough stains and mildew, while the finish side smooths and renews surfaces, extending the life and appearance of your kitchen boards.

Great little gadget.
This thing really works. All my plastic cutting boards look much cleaner and are much smoother. It does take quite a bit of elbow grease and it is loud with the rough side.

Works well
I like to use this at the restaurant where I work to help re finish the cutting boards.

Cleaner should come with the board
This cleaner worked 80% as hoped but did not completely remove the stubborn stains that are inherent with the Hasegawa board. It really should come with the board as it is needed. Paying an extra $20 for the cleaner seems excessive.

Works very well for its intended purpose
This is meant for sanding down rubber cutting boards like Asahi and Hesegawa. (It may also work for HiSoft but I have not tried). Think of it as being like a drywall sanding screen but made for rubber cutting boards.Compared to using sandpaper mounted on a hand sanding block, this works much MUCH better. As to the reviewer who tried to remove a cut -- that's a lot of sanding for sure.... Also, rubber cutting boards are not meant for rough chopping. For normal cutting, including rocking chops, they are self-healing. Should not really get cuts in a rubber cutting board.

Waste of money for me.
If you maintain your Hasegawa board from the beginning with this then it's probably fine but if like me you have used the board for months or years and it is badly stained then this will not help, for me it was a waste of money.Better off buying some very coarse sand paper.

Muy suave
El material no es fuerte. Se siente como esponja de lavar trastes no quita las marcad. Demasiado caro para lo que es.

great for cleaning wood & synthetic boards
gets rid of stubborn, sticky messes from gelatinous foods like rice paper, seafood, papaya, etc., as well as stains from colorful wet fruits and foods that tend to seep into the surface (e.g. tomato, red dragon fruit, spinach).it's essentially a rough/fine sanding block but with copper grit so it lasts an incredibly long time. the shape of the block (with the flexible edges–not as rigid) is really useful to get in the juice groove or apply additional pressure when needed.this scraper is NOT intended for removing knife marks/cuts in your board though it does smooth them and even removes them with enough determination.
