Used it for Cancún trip, and it worked perfect. Put it under mattress for 3 days to press out the crease in brim.

I work in a State Park and am out in the sun all day. They give us a ball cap but many of us use this style hat instead. The hat itself is great, a couple of days after I ordered it I saw almost the exact same one in a store for more than double the price. HOWEVER, it was shipped folded up into quarters and squashed up into a TINY mailing bag and then was shoved into my mail box. It was so distorted that I could not even get it on to my head. Since I am too lazy to drive to the return place I took the hat, soaked it in the sink, placed the wet hat on a towel and got out my iron and spray starch. I ironed out all the wrinkles and starched it throughly, then I went to the mirror and kept tugging on it to get it into the exact shape I liked, returning to the iron and starch until it was perfect. It took a tiny bit of time butnow I have a perfect hat. I just wish Amazon had enough sense to ship it flat instead of cramming it into the smallest container they could find. A simple mail bag with a piece of cardboard and a do not bend notice would have worked fine.

Initially ordered one hat to wear while golfing in the desert sun. Subsequently ordered two more (all of different colors). Interestingly, hat is offered in multiple colors but not white which I prefer.Basic functionality of all hats was good for golf-- had brim is wide enough for good sun protection but not too floppy to play golf in,-- adjustable elastic fit around the inside of the hat band worked well and stayed in place once fixed-- hat depth sufficient to remain in place with decent sun protection on face-- I cut off the chin strap to avoid distraction during golf swingHowever, each hat was different-- First hat (red) did not have side snap to roll up brim of hat (that did not matter to me but it might to you)-- Second (khaki) looked like picture-- Third (light grey) was a bit darker than the photo and (more importantly) delivered folded in a plastic shipping bag resulting in four permanent creases in the brim that affect both appearance and functionality (the first two hats were delivered in a small shipping box). This is the primary reason I did not give this product more stars.I guess at these price points, consistent quality is too much to ask .. not certain if I will order a white one if it ever becomes available.

After having a cancer removed I needed something to shade my head, face and neck. This hat does that and keeps you cool. The bill is really wide but will not stay flat. It has waves like the ocean. It does fit a pretty big head like mine but will adjust to fit smaller.

I like that this hat is extremely light weight and dries in a flash. Perfect for kayaking, or really any activity in hot weather.
