Best Stock Product Available!
I used Marigold Swiss Bouillon powder for many years when I lived in Scotland and was distressed that I could not find it in the U.S. Fortunately, The Yummy Palette in the U.K. carries Marigold and ships to the States by courier so I have the package in less than a week. After trying many other “stock cubes” and “instant stock pastes”, I can say that there is NO comparison with Marigold. I cook all my rice, pasta, grains such as quinoa and farro in it by adding about tablespoon to the boiling water. No need to add additional salt to the recipe then. The wonderful fragrance while cooking, has none of the metallic smell of cheap stock cubes. Several British chefs have advised that if you can’t make your own stock, use Marigold Swiss Bouillon. I agree!

The best
I prepare beans from dry, rice and quinoa, chili and soups in an electric pressure cooker. This is by far the best powdered flavorful broth to use across the board with all those things. I'm never without it. Dissolves quickly in warm liquid.

Taste Great
This is the best bouillon. I use it for soups and sometimes as a seasoning.

My favorite veggie stock and can't find it anywhere else
My favorite veggie stock and can't find it anywhere else. Kind of expensive, but will buy again when it runs out.

Have food histamine issues? This one is ok!
Found this recommended by a HIT blogger. Many boullions have additives that cause problems for histamine sensitive people. I wanted to reduce my exposure to additives as much as I could so I tried it. Tastes great and worked in place of the stocks I used to use. I will continue to buy it.

it has a funny smell to it when it cooked with
i purchased this item to replace the rapunzel bouillion which i loved to very much but can no longer get in the usa. when i used this marigold i found it to have too much salt. i bought the another marigold with low salt and that one still was too salty. but the worst thing was that once it cooked into the food it took on a very bad smell. it was like a poop smell. i threw the food out. i tried one more time to use the product thinking maybe it was something else but it took on that poop smell again and again i threw the food out. so it is the product and i would not recommend it. sorry.

Great for a lunch time hot drink. Pity the packaging was bad lost some of the Bouillon.
I have been using Marigold Bouillon for about 30 years and love it. As I now live in New Zealand I have to import it but it is still worthwhile!!!"

This product displays itself as being gourmet - but it’s actually sea salt, potato starch, some soy, sunflower and rapeseed oil with some herbs and spices. Very sad, for a price like this and the “Swiss”-claim I expected something like Rapunzel Organic. But it’s not!!! Ingredients: Sea Salt Potato starch Hydrolysed vegetable protein (containing soy) Vegetable oil (sunflower, rapeseed) Vegetables 7% (onion, parsnip, carrot, leek) Celery seed Parsley Turmeric White pepper Garlic Mace Lovage Nutmeg Per 100gr: Salt 43.8% Carbohydrate 30.6% Fat 9.3% Protein 9.6% Therefor I presume 43.8% sea salt, 30% potato, 9.3% fat, protein 9.6%, 7% vegetables, leaving 7.3% for Celery seed, Parsley, Turmeric, White pepper, Garlic, Mace, Lovage, Nutmeg. What a disappointment to me!
