everything else like this is way over priced.

The build quality is terrible, scratched coating everywhere, sharp edges on every screw hole, chunk of metal gouged out of the side. And even if you were willing to put up with all that, the pi mounting plates once screwed in are not straight back, rather they are angled by about 20 degrees. Not at all worth the money, returning this product.

Half of the screws act like they are "stripped out" and wont hold the Pi tray so it falls out. Still, it's 'good enough', just plan to find some slightly larger screws and probably not have the "thumb screw" you wanted when you ordered. If someone finds a thumb screw that's the right size, let me know. I'd love to have what I ordered mounted in our companies server rack.Update: UCTronics reached out to me and volunteered a new rack mount bracket and screws to replace the one I originally received. I received the replacement chassis along with bag of screws and 4 pi mount brackets along with them sending a photo of my item as it was boxed up before shipment to me. UCTronics did NOT ask me to edit or delete my review, they actually never mentioned it other than to say they saw I wasn't happy with their product. I wanted to update my review because companies that stand behind their products and don't use warranties as leverage should be noted. I'll buy UCTronics components in the future with confidence.

Functions well as a rackmount for Pi's with a PoE hat, but the quality of the construction, which is somewhat flimsy, does not justify the outrageous price.

Did not fit my StarTech 12U rack. Had to bend the frame out a little to get the unit to fit inside. The metal is decent for the load it will eventually have with 12 Raspberry Pis, but I was able to bend it myself with little effort. Disappointed that it didn't fit. UCTRONICS needs to cut back the folded metal about 1/16" on each side at the top and bottom. It was the folded metal at the top and bottom that kept the unit from fitting into the rack.

This product only works with the PI 4's not the Pi 3B's (like the title says). Not sure why this is the case but avoid if you want to mount Pi 3B's.

2 out of 2 failed attempts to ship the front removable version. Just checking the pack of screws is a simple enough check. Hoping 3rd attempt is going to work.....

Appears they have changed the design. No thumbscrews and it only comes with brackets for the 4B. Box says "Upgraded" and the same model number U6178.
