Q: Are devilbiss starting line hvlp spray guns compatible with solvent and waterborne paints?

I've used mine to spray all types of paint and they work good, all you have to do is keep them clean

No, this product is not made in the USA. It's either Taiwan or China.

Q: Can i put a 2.2mm tip on these?

I wasn't able to use the 2.2MM tip because the threads are different. I bought the 2.2 tip and afterwards looked and it isn't applicable for this model. Def recommend reviewing the application chart.
