Fun story for little ones.
Good yucky story for little ones! Fun to be read and also for little ones learning to read. Would certainly recommend.

My Year 1 class loved
I am a Year 1 teacher and used this story for an English topic. The children engaged with this story really well. The illustrations are great and there is some really interesting vocabulary for young children to explore.

Package arrived folded
Great book, luckily the book wasn’t damaged (just had to be flattened for a couple of hours. My 4 year old son loves books by this author so couldn’t go wrong.

Such a clever book
This is a humorous adventure that begins with one hungry badger and his rumbling tum. The badger itself isn't actually mentioned again until right near the end, as we then follow a little boy's dropped sandwich on it's journey through the park, where several more mishaps lead to each creature who discovers it eventually discarding it, declaring they "can't eat it now, it's disgusting!" (A repeated refrain young children love to join in with).Watch carefully in the background of every page though. Another story is carefully being told throughout, about the badger's own calamitous journey through the park, before he is eventually able to claim the sandwich for himself. The ending is a funny twist in fitting with the humour of the story. It's very cleverly done and my children absolutely love this book. I only wish we'd discovered it sooner.

Fantastic, very funny book
This book is brilliant. So much humour and great repetition for children to join in with. What a fabulous book. A firm favourite.I read it with pre-school children but primary school children would love it, too.
