ABN Carbide Tip Grout Removal Hand Tool, Soft Grip & Reversible Triangle Blade for Detail Work

We needed to replace a couple tiles in our kitchen and my husband was going to use an oscillating tool or grinder, but our neighbor recommended a carbide tip tool instead so it wouldn't make such a dusty mess as using the oscillating tool. This carbide tip grout removal hand tool will take more elbow grease but if you don't want to have dust flying everywhere from a grinder or oscillating tool this is the way to go. We just had to remove two tiles so this worked great for us. The handle is ergonomic and has some rubber on it for a good grib so your hand doesn't slide around while working. Happy with this tool did a great job on our tile project.

This worked well for me to remove old grout. My only issue was the grip got a bit loose in my hand.

This works like a charm.

It didn't work very well at all. I was using it in the shower floor where the grout lines are really narrow. It worked okay in some of the loose grout (bad tile job so I was regrouting the floor). When I got to harder, more cured grout...it didn't do very well at all. I had to push with too much force and it was skipping up and I wound up chipping the corners of a couple tiles. And since the grout lines were narrow 1/8" or less in some places...the triangle sides "bottomed" out on the tile so the point wouldn't reach all the way into the joint. I'm going to buy an electric grout remover...save myself some time and headache.

Works as designed. Well crafted tools, excellent mater. Excellent for small grout cleaning or removal projects.
