Order this quickly as we were headed up to Vermont and I seldom wear a hat or cap. I liked the ribbed knit look. It came in a vacuum sealed bag so I knew it had not been worn and returned. The instructions say to hand wash it to get it to bounce back from being tightly packed in the vacuum bag, but I just dampened it and fluffed it up. It dried in a few minutes and looked perfect! I wore it all week in the cold and very windy mountains and it was exactly what I wanted. My head is a little larger than most and it easily stretched to fit without ever feeling tight or loose.

This might be the warmest stocking cap I've ever owned, definitely the softest and it looks awesome.I would definitely purchase this again and my friends will hear about this cap that cost six bucks.Buy it

The inside of this hat is softest, warmest, most awesome interior of any hat I've ever owned. I'm bald as hell too so my skin is right up against the interior of this hat and it's dope, like a faux-rabbit fur type thing in terms of softness is much more comfortable than most stuff I've encountered like that. This is also, straight up the warmest hat I own now, so much so I actually can't wear it indoors like I wear a lot of hats, but when I went out this past weekend to protest stuff in the freezing rain, this hat helped keep me pretty warm. And as I noticed in the rain, it's pretty decent at keeping the water off of it instead of absorbing it and dried out what little water it did absorb incredibly fast.So this hat, for me, as a bald dude, has a little more in the top than I would like, but if you're a dude with thicker, nice hair (I sort of hate you) than that'll be a bonus. This is really more of a style thing than anything else as I'm used to smaller beanies that are a little tighter fitting. This is now my second favorite beanie. I'm not a fan of how they ship it in a vacuum sealed package. It flattens and compresses the fibers, making it lose a lot of it's shape. They recommend that you hand wash it, so that it'll retain it's natural shape, but I've yet to ever have a beanie like this, where washing it doesn't cause it to lose shape and some degree of sizing. Then there's the risk of shrinking when it's dried. I ordered these because we had a freak severe cold snap, and I needed them immediately. I really didn't like how it was shipped, as that delayed my being able to use it.It would also be nice if the inner layer was truly attached at the top, and the crease wasnt so severely pronounced, so it would be a truly rounded beanie, as most cable knit style are.Even with these two complaints, it's very warm, comfortable, looks good, and well worth the price.

I bought this for work, as I frequently spend time in a warehouse cooler (around 40 F) and also in a large freezer (in the negative 15 F range). I wear a full cold suit when I'm operating equipment in the freezer, but during my regular work I'm only in briefly and it's the cooler that I had to stay warm for. This hat is perfect for this so far, keeping my head warm without feeling like I'm too warm when I leave the colder areas for the normal temperatures of the rest of the warehouse.It stretches nicely to feel snug and secure, has enough material to pull down to cover everything, and has a very soft and cozy inner lining that makes it comfortable to wear for hours. I have a heavier hat for longer use in the coldest areas, but it is way too much for when I am only entering the cold air a few brief times throughout the day. This is actually my second, as I bought another color that I can keep at home for when winter comes along.

Fits perfectly and very comfortable. Keeps my head warm in the winters. Unfortunately my dog chewed both of them away.

Some reviewers described the hat as having a plush inside. When I received it the plush inside was hanging by a single thread. Basically, there is an acrylic weave on the outside and a separate layer of plush material for the inside, but the plush layer on mine was not attached so that it was actually part of the hat. I have to believe that this was not the way it was supposed to be. The outer weave is far too thin by itself to keep a head warm, especially if there is a little bit of wind. That would be resolved by the plush layer on the inside. But this thing hanging by a single thread isn't going to work. Looks like someone forgot to send this one to the final stage of manufacturing. So, I ordered another one hoping to get one that has been completed.Updated:Ordered another one and this one has the inner layer sewn to the outer layer. So, as I thought, the first one was defective.

This was bought as a gift for a 22 y.o. grandson. He loved it! It is a close fitting hat, lined with warm plush material, the weave pattern is nice. It's a very well made hat.
