The Heritage Chukka Work Boot was made and inspired by the work shoes worn by carpenters, mechanics, wood workers, and engineers. The 520 Pro features a durable heavy-duty polyurethane sole offering shock absorption, tread, comfort, and dependable performance. The outsole material is designed with tiny micro air bubbles to relieve heavy pressure when your feet put through tough movement during work. Unlike most chukka boots, the 520 features 3 nickle plated eyelets for strong and tightly secured lacing. The insole has a cushion pillow comfort for arch support. With a strong oil full grain upper leather for durability and soft pigskin lining for comfort, this well-developed work shoe fits both work and casual. As with all our Golden Fox shoes this boot has a classic Goodyear Welt construction stitched to its upper allowing for maximum durability and resole-able capabilities.

Nice Quality Work Boots
Comfortable right out of the box. Look nice too. Can be work boots or used for going out. Size is true to fit.

For the price this is a very well made and constructed boot.
I am please with my purchase. Like all boots, it takes a bit to break in, and these are not exceptions. That said, they fit well out of the box and are breaking in just fine. They are well made and the craftsmanship looks good. I swapped out the laces only as a preference, I like my Chukkas to hold tight.Treated and leather protected properly, I expect these boots to last quite a while. Good job Golden Fox !

Better than Red wings.
I wore Red wing chukkas for 25 years as a Carpenter. (When they were affordable) Now every melennial and gen Z think they are cool and don't mind paying $300.00 for them. Its a joke. These are actually Better made boots. Made in the USA and have out lasted any RedWings I ever owned. More comfortable too. Highly recommend.

Good boots, stiff leather. Apply mink oil.
Had to put mink oil on to soften leather. They are more comfortable now. I have 3 pairs of boondocks from Golden Fox. They are real comfortable. The chukas leather was stiff. And had a different sole. But they wear good after mink oil.

Redwing replacement
I've been wearing the Redwing equivalent of this shoe since high school (50 years), 2 years ago Redwing discontinued it and when I wore out the couple of pairs I had I looked online for maybe a loose pair still around and found these.They seemed well constructed so I ordered on Sat., they were here Sunday and they are built better than Redwings at well under 1/2 the cost.Stitched welt, pigskin lined, pigskin insole......a good honest boot at a good price.

Comfy
Very comfortable boot and stylish looking. Only be aware that the tongue will rub hard on your front side lower shin until it breaks in. Other than that I will purchase again.

Fan for life!
I was a big Georgia boot buyer. Golden Fox blows them away. Great quality. Great, fit and finish. Seem to be more durable. Can't say for sure yet, but they still really hold their shape and apart from being dirty look new.

I ordered mine 1/2 size larger
I wore ”Chukka style boots “ in the Navy we called them boondockers, I remember them being very comfortable. So when I decided to start looking for a new pair of boots I thought of the chukkas, I found these from Golden Fox and I thought I would give them a try, I’m glad I did, this boots are so soft and comfortable they didn’t even require any break in. I normally wear a size 11 1/2 W but I like my boots to be a little on the loose side so I ordered a size 12 and I’m glad I did, with a thick pair of cotton socks these boots fit perfectly. Before I even wore them outside I treated them with a good waterproof product, that turned the leather just a little darker Goldenhue. I have and I will continue to recommend this boot to others looking for a good well made pair of boots.
