Use This All The Time!
This Hal Leonard series is fantastic and I recommend it to my students all the time! The Orange book has a solid amount of songs that aren't outdated but are definitely classics! I also like their arrangements, as there are not many "really easy" piano books out there for popular or known songs, and this book fits that description well! It's a great balance for learning!

Simple, easy to read
This is a great book for someone who's just starting to learn to read. There are songs in C major here that are also written in more difficult scales. Great for a beginning sore reader. My piano teacher recommended it as I'm a returning pisno player.

some arrangements are better than others
I'm a beginner at piano, and I got this book to have some "fun" pieces to play. It fits the bill, but some arrangements are better than others, while some only vaguely resemble their ostensible origin pieces. Linus and Lucy, for example, and a couple of the Disney pieces, deviate significantly from what you'd expect to play. The lyrics are included with the songs, but good luck squeaking out The Ash Grove or Let it Go.Difficulty-wise, it's about my level, and the font is big enough to read clearly.

Great list of songs
Bought this for my 9 year old daughter, per her piano teachers recommendation. It has numerous well known songs, some Disney, some from the Beatles, and some overall classics. It makes sense to use songs you already know to learn and instrument and I'm excited to hear her learn and play these!

Love, Love, Love
I am really enjoying these pieces. I only recently taught myself piano, but have read treble clef music for a long time. Left hand and bass clef and coordinating both hands is still a challenge for me but I feel like this book provides a reasonable amount of challenge. Some pieces are really simple and some are a little harder as I would expect in any book of music. I would say not really for beginners per say , but would consider on the Easy level as is in the title. The text is a reasonable size and there are finger recommendations scattered about. Not too many complicated cords or flats and sharps but enough to make the music still sound good. I'm actually considering buying the second book already. For someone like me who is not great at piano but still wants the music to have some depth, this is great. It's a 👍 from me.

Music 5 stars - Kindle formatting 0 stars
The music is great - better than you get in the usual lesson book - more complete and more popular songs, mostly in the key of C and 4/4 time. Nice!I had to order the Kindle version because I live outside of the US, and the Kindle formatting is horrendous! Of course, all of the music notation is a graphic. On my Android tablet, on some of the pages there are so many legal notices the music is too small to read. You can zoom in, but then you can't turn the page. Helpful when you're learning to play. Viewing it in the Windows app causes similar problems with size. The least annoying way to view it is via the cloud, but you're still not going to want to prop your PC up on the piano. Best way to create usable sheet music is with the cloud version, a screen capture program that will sharpen the graphic, and Word or similar to resize and print. Not easy, but possible. Still, there ought to be a better way.

Awesome selection
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter who is starting her third year of piano. She loves it. So many great songs in here! I did buy the spiral version after reading reviews that said the cheaper regular binding did not stay open and caused issues. The spiral binding has had no issues.
