Works great but takes some work to set up
The media could not be loaded. This is my go-to case for snorkeling photos and videos. It allows ultra-clear image quality, whereas with the soft cases they are fuzzy and unusable. But it is a bit bulky (due to universal fit) and takes some work to set up:* You have to adjust the clamp and the button press mechanism for your phone so that you can reliably operate the shutter.* You need to push to seal all the way around before you engage the case closing clips.* You need to disable touch on your phone since the water against the back window will cause phantom touches. On Android, you can do this through accessibility settings. Enable the shortcut, open the camera app, then use the shortcut to disable touch. You can now use the volume down button to operate the shutter, but nothing else.So yeah, it's a bit technical, but it's the cheapest way to get high quality shots, which soft cases will *not* give you. Well worth the money.

Working, so far...
So I used this for the first time about 2 weeks ago, while a friend and I were hiking the creek. I found out, as I was setting it up before starting our hike, that I needed to remove the gorilla glass protector on my phone before putting it in the case because it was significantly affecting the touch screen sensitivity. So just FYI, you're going to want to remove your glass screen protector because you're going to need as much screen sensitivity as you can get when you put it under water. My Samsung S8 fits in this case, and the shutter lever does lineup appropriately with the volume down button. However one of the fitting brackets, which make sure the phone doesn't move around inside of the case loosely, tightens directly on to the power button. So if you have the same, or a similar model phone, you'll probably encounter the same problem. I simply tore a business card in half, folded the piece a couple times, and wedged it between the side of the phone and bracket, so that it was still stabilizing the phone while not actually pressing down on the power button itself.Once we got in the creek & found our first critter, (it was a baby snapping turtle), I realized almost immediately that trying to see what I was filming while the phone was under water was going to be impossible. Had to rely on intuition while aiming the camera, and had to hope for the best with the focus. The reason being, I was trying to film horizontally rather than pointing the camera straight down, because the creek isn't very deep. My thought right now, after seeing the recording, is that I could probably catch some pretty good footage with a fixed focal point. Trying to tap the screen to focus visibly and audibly messes with the recording, so I'm not going to do that anymore but I will experiment in the future to see whether the phone will sufficiently handle autofocus or if fixed focus is the better way to go.The last couple of things I will note:1) The case is huge and bulky, not heavy just unwieldy... I couldn't figure out a comfortable way to hold it, or hook it onto my gear so that it was secure & out of the way, but still accessible when I wanted to use it. I ended up putting the case away & putting my Otterbox case back on so I could clip it to my belt.2) There were some air bubbles escaping from one corner of the case, however when I opened it, the moisture did not seem to pass beyond the rubber gasket and might have just been some air trapped in the hollow space around the outside of the seal. It's going to take a few more uses to really be able to understand its full potential and limitations. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with its simplicity, light weight and quality of materials. The case clips together very tightly and seems to keep the water out, but those bubbles make me nervous so I need to do more testing. The plastic for the touch screen doesn't inhibit sensitivity at all, as long as you don't have a glass screen protector on your phone. The only thing I wouldn't do is drop it onto a hard surface, as one whole face of the case is soft plastic, and the case itself in general is not built for shock absorption.I would say this case is absolutely perfect for snorkeling or swimming in shallow water, where you can wear goggles and look directly at the screen. But for my purposes, I basically have no way of knowing for sure if I captured what I intended to, before reviewing the footage. But I don't think there's an alternative so I'm going to keep trying to work with what I have.

Very hit or miss….prone to corrosion
This case is great in theory. When it works it’s a slam dunk but the rest of the time, the phone overheats inside the case before you even get it near the water. We used them like 4 times and the salt water caused so much corrosion in the case that the hinges don’t work anymore and the air vent broke off. Now it’s going in the trash

Not for Samsung Ultras
I tried to fit it in the case but it will not allow the bottom lense to line up. Also, you can't use the power button to activate the phone if it goes into screen saver mode. Guess you need to deactivate any of that and leave it on. Not that big a deal but pain to switch back and forth.Lastly, it sometimes works with the volume button but it kept firing burst mode on its own so I ended up deleting 3 round of 100 pics of the floor.Update: I was finally able to get things to fit properly enough. The button was still hit or miss so I ended up using the screen to take shots. For the amount of times I will use it, it works well enough. I will say it is watertight which is a big plus.

Works really well!
It does do what its supposed to do! We haven’t had any leaks with it and was easily able to take some really good under water photos on a recent trip. We were in shallow water (less than 10 feet) - I personally wouldn’t be willing to take it deeper, but perfect for what we needed - shallow water snorkeling and boarding.I was impressed with how good the photos came out! Just like they would look outside of the water with an iPhone. No blurriness, super washed out colors or focus issues. For the money, it’s a great buy. I’ve attached a few photos taken with an iPhone inside the case. It’s a little difficult to open, but I’d rather that tight seal than have it leak. The case itself seems sturdy. It’s not flimsy plastic and the latches all around are secure. Setting it up and getting it adjusted to the hold the phone securely in the right position was easy. You just adjust sliders in the case so the volume button aligns with the lever that presses it on the phone when you press the button on the case. You can adjust the sliders to fit various size phones and the lever will operate on either the left or right side of the phone, so it works with whatever your phone uses as a shutter button. It fits larger phones like the 14 pro max I have, my daughter’s smaller iPhone 14, and a Galaxy note 22 we have. The screen cover part is flexible, Like a thick membrane. It allows the touch screen to still work. I worried bit about how it would hold up, but so far no issues with it over a long weekend of using it several times a day and taking the phone in and out.The downside - the phone gets HOT inside it. Even if not actively being used with the screen on, inside a dry bag on the paddle board it got very warm in the case. I wouldn’t recommend leaving the phone inside for extended periods.
