It’s such a simple idea, but it’s so beautifully executed that it makes functional led candles (which have previously been a bit of a letdown) legitimately gorgeous. I first saw these at my parent’s house where my mother has been having a bit of fun leaving them switched on posed very close to the flammable sleeves of her Christmas Nutcracker displays. She has successfully Instilled fear into the Christmas experience, which brings her some joy, and gives you an indication of just how realistic the flame action is. You have to get up quite close to really notice they aren’t real flames.One of my other favorite things about these is the color temperature. It’s very close to that of an actual candle flame. Too often, I get a greenish hue from other LED candles, but these are gorgeous. I’ve taken a video showing my candles alongside some standard LED candles, and a real flame soy candle to provide comparison. Hope it helps to compare!

The media could not be loaded.  So these look a little silly at first but when you turn them on they look just like a real flame. I was amazed how real they looked. The only reason I did not give them a five is that they were purchased to sit on each side of the tv. However when the tv is on it must interfere with the magnetic coil because they stop swaying. Took me a minute to figure out why they stopped working so beautifully. The two hanging are far enough away to not be affected but the ones on the stand just stay still until the tv is turned off. Otherwise this was a great purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  After seeing battery powered "realistic moving flame" candles at a Christmas display I searched for them at a craft store. They were super expensive ($40+ per candle!). I found this set on Amazon and figured for the price I had nothing to lose. I set them up in a Christmas themed display and have enjoyed them thoroughly. They look beautiful and make a slight tinkling sounds which is very charming. The remote works well and when you use the setting for them to be on for X number of hours they come on again at that same time the next night. The only problem I have seen is that they eat up 3A batteries pretty fast (Each candle requires 3 of them) but I do have them on about 4 hours a day. We loved the candles so much that we kept them out after putting Christmas things away. I highly recommend this set.

I wanted durable candles for outside that looked more real but did not have the wax coating as our weather can get pretty high. The color is a soft tone to just give enough ambience. I used the 4" ones in my wall lanterns and the 5" one in my table lantern (see photos). You do not have to stand too close to the candles to turn on and off but sometimes it takes two presses to turn them all on; which is no big deal.

Love these candles! The flicker of light gives these candles a realistic look, they don't look cheap and plastic like many other brands. The timer feature works great, the candles turn themselves on and off at the same time each day. You can purchase multiple sets of these candles and they will all work with the same remote control. As the batteries lose power over time, the candle appears less bright, but I think it's only noticeable because I have two sets of these candles that I purchased at different times so half the batteries are newer. The older ones have been running for 5 hours a day for nearly two months now and the batteries are still working, albeit slightly dimmer than the candles I've only had for 2 weeks. One of my candles wouldn't work upon arrival but I emailed Aignis and the customer service was great, they immediately sent me a replacement!
