Bought this Holy Stone HS175D for my nephew as a Christmas present. He couldn't have been more excited. Build quality looks good. We have a dji mini which cost over €1,200 and other than the integrated screen, higher quality camera and a few software upgrades, there's not a lot of differences. At a tenth of the price this drone is AMAZING value. I'll update my review once I get proper feedback.

I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived, it’s my first drone, although I do know a bit about them as my son used to have a few large ones. It may be classed as a budget drone but from the carry bag to the 2 chargers and batteries it looks and feel top class. It was just a case of charging the two drone batteries and the remote. While they were charging I had a flick through the instruction booklet, and that’s where things got confusing, the booklet makes the whole setup process confusing, it left me asking more questions than answers, in the end I had to troll YouTube for answers. On my first flight I spent more time trying to set up the giro and compass than actually flying. But once I eventually masters the set up it flew grate. I had a few hiccups where I don’t think I’d calibrated something right and it shot off to the side. And for my first flight I ditched the phone and app and just used the remote. When I’d gained a bit of confidence I reconnected the app and used my phone to see what I was filming. Picture quality was grate but I’m not sure it was the resolution as advertised, but nether the less I’m happy with it. All in all, considering I’m a n00b and was very nervous I was going to lose it on my first go. I think it’s brilliant for the price, and I’ve heard nothing but good reviews of the customer support. Would I buy one again? Yes definitely

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced flyer, you just can't go wrong with this drone. In the below £250.00 class it's the best money can buy. Firstly, this is not a toy (14+) but a serious flying machine. If you are a beginner, with its novice mode, it will make sure you can't either fly too high or too far away, it has all the confidence boosting elements, auto take off and land, and if you find yourself in difficulty all you have to do is press the "come home" button and it will land at your feet. If you start getting low on battery power or it senses a signal drop, it will tell you it's "coming home". The drone is extremely stable in flight but has a really quick response to user inputs not jerky, just precise. For the more experienced flyer there is a GPS, there are modes for follow me, waypoint, circle, and headless mode. It has a trim feature in which you can make settings if you find the drone drifting slightly whilst hovering. The camera is also very good giving clear pictures both in still and video mode, the drone also excepts a micro card up to 64GB. The perfect all-round drone.

Probably the best fun I’ve had for ages, for all the wrong reasons. Drone is high spec’ed and lovely looking but has one major flaw… GO HOME. It appears that pressing this button doesn’t mean come back but rise to 30m, fly off into the distance at double the speed that it started at and deactivate. All sync and calibrations were set up but clearly SkyNet took over today. Don’t buy this drone and look at spending a bit more for better quality However, thank you to Amazon for agreeing to refund this and their quality customer service.

It can be a bit flaky to set up. Found have to turn off mobile data on my phone for the app to connect to drone (via drone WiFi). Can also take a while to get it to connect to controller, get GPS calibrate etc. Seem to have to turn it if and on a few times and repeat procedure to get it set up properly. Once set up, it flys well and gives good quality video.

I got the Holystone HS175D as a Christmas present and so far it's been great fun. Once it was set up [needed to watch a youtube video or 2] it was great to use. The controller is set out well and the responsiveness of the Drone itself is stunning - I love it. It goes far and wide and the pics I've taken so far are everything I hoped for. I love the travel bag for it. I had a question for Holystone who answered it quickly and also registered the drone for warranty - very pleased so far.

Update from my side. I was contacted by the support team who gave a replacement and it works like a charm. Thanks. Movie capture is very good, especially directly to the mobile phone. Earlier update: sturdy product but found it very difficult to master and control. Twice lost it because it developed a mind of its own, gained height and flew off!!!. Sorry but really not impressed.

Drone acheté fin 2023. Début Mai 2024 un message d’erreur est apparu « programme anormal » et impossibilité d’utiliser le smart phone et de faire des photos / vidéos. D’autres commentaires font état d’un tel problème. J’ai contacté par mail le SAV qui m’a assuré que les techniciens allaient corriger le bug, et 2 jours plus tard après réinstallation de l’appli HS GPS V5 tout fonctionne. Je suis très satisfait de la qualité générale du drone et de ses performances en regard de son coût, de l’amabilité de Valentina et de la réactivité du SAV. Drone purchased at the end of 2023. At the beginning of May 2024 an error message appeared “abnormal program” and it was impossible to use the smart phone and take photos/videos. Other comments mention such a problem. I contacted after-sales service by email who assured me that the technicians would correct the bug, and 2 days later after reinstalling the HS GPS V5 app everything works. I am very satisfied with the general quality of the drone and its performance in relation to its cost, the friendliness of Valentina and the responsiveness of the after-sales service.

Es un buen dron de iniciación o para matar el gusanillo si ya volabas con los antiguos drones sin Gps, como es mi caso y a un precio muy razonable. La presentación es impecables y un estuche con batería de repuesto y dos cargadores, mas algunas hélices. El dron viene configurado por defecto para volar en exteriores con función GPS, si lo utilizas en interior tuve algunos problemas para cambiar a flujo óptico (sin GPS). Me puse en contacto con el soporte técnico en cuestión de horas me respondieron y dieron la solución, hay que pulsar la tecla "retorno a casa", del mando, de forma automática el dron cambia a flujo óptico y lo puedes volar. Quiero destacar la rapidez , eficacia, amabilidad y excelente disponibilidad del soporte técnico de Holy Stone

Questo drone è pensato principalmente per i principianti, grazie ai comandi semplici e intuitivi che permettono di imparare rapidamente a pilotarlo. Nonostante ciò, la qualità generale è davvero buona e supera le aspettative per questa fascia di utilizzo. Il drone è stabile in volo e risponde bene ai comandi, rendendo l’esperienza piacevole e sicura. La qualità delle immagini e dei video è soddisfacente, ideale per chi vuole iniziare a fare riprese aeree. I materiali sono resistenti e ben assemblati. Nel complesso, è un ottimo prodotto per chi si avvicina per la prima volta al mondo dei droni.

Ottimo prodotto per principianti come me. Materiali ottimi, sembra essere estremamente robusto e ben fatto. Per chi vuole imparare, come me, è un buon compromesso qualità prezzo. Facile da pilotare e fa dei video molto belli. Foto ottime, la qualità delle immagini è nitida e dettagliata, con colori brillanti e vivaci. L'ho testato per un mese e mezzo e lo consiglio vivamente. Great product for beginners like me. Excellent materials, seems to be extremely robust and well made. For those who want to learn, like me, it is a good compromise between quality and price. Easy to fly and makes very nice videos. Excellent photos, the image quality is sharp and detailed, with bright and vibrant colors. I tested it for a month and a half and highly recommend it.

Dron perfeto para principiantes como yo, robusto, muy ligero y maniobrable. Cámara 4k en foto, pero no en vídeo. Asistencia y servicio postventa perfectos. Al ponerlo en marcha la primera vez no conseguí que funcionara, fallo mío como después vi, me atendieron rápidamente por mail y solucionaron mis errores de configuración. También tuve un problema con un rotor y me enviaron uno nuevo con instrucciones detalladas y precisas para cambiarlo. En definitiva, un dron básico pero muy satisfactoria la relación calidad-precio, así como un excelente servicio post venta del fabricante.
