Avoloop Wood Handle Combo Pack

Tried these with avocados and kiwi. The kiwi was a little difficult but it may be because it wasn't ripe enough. Th avocado worked like a charm, much less wasted material than when I cut with a knife.

It's a one (maybe, two trick) pony that does it's job well. I use it for avocados, cantaloupes and mangoes. Make sure you use ripe product when you use this tool.

Works great for avocados but not at all for kiwi.

I'm not sure how the four people that I gave them to as gifts liked them. I had bought an individual one for myself to loop out avocados with and really like it.

One of the greatest products ever invented!!! The avoloop takes all of the mess out of preparing an avocado. the avocado slips right out of it's skin and makes it easy to prepare halved, chopped or guacamole. I saw the poor review written because it was difficult to return. I think their mistake was in wanting to return the product in the first place.

I love kiwis. They are one of my absolute favorite fruits. The problem with kiwis is all that deliciousness is trapped beneath a thick, hairy, leathery hide. Until now there have been only two options; the knife or the peeler. The knife requires a sacrifice of blood and the peeler in nothing more than a bludgeon smashing and tearing the kiwi into bits. The Avoloop changes everything. You can separate the kiwi intact from its skin in seconds without a single drop of blood. On receipt of the item, my wife decided immediately that we did not need the items. I figured no problem. We didn't open or use them and I would just fill out a simple Amazon return and would be done. BUT, for some reason this company categorizes these items as HAZARDOUS MATERIAL so they may not be simply returned and so have not been able to return them at all. I am hoping that this review may open the eyes of the company to contact us so we may return brand new items. BUYER BEWARE and BE SURE YOU WANT THEM!

Full disclosure, I know the inventor of the Avoloop and bought (yes, I paid for them :) several directly long before they were available nationwide. I've kept two and given the others as gifts. Everyone enjoys using it as a safer alternative to a knife for so many things, but especially on avocado and mango.
