An amazing AAA powered flashlight with beautiful color rendering.
The Sofirn C01S AAA Micro High CRI flashlight is a hidden gem! Amazing performance at 100 Lumens with a color rendition that is out of this world, and all of this running on a single AAA battery. Did I mention it is inexpensive and has an IPX8 2m rating? Search the light and my name on YouTube for a full in-depth presentation. Features I like about this flashlight: Very Compact, almost the size of a AAA battery. Easy to Use. Dual Mode. CRI, Color Rendition Index is noted as over 90! High Power mode is 100 Lumens. Decent flood style lighting, great for inspections. Low Power mode is 3 Lumens and is very usable. IPX8 Waterproof rating to 2m for 30 minutes. They include extra o-rings and key ring. Features that could be added or improved on: A medium light setting mode of 25-30 Lumens. Overall, it gets a solid recommendation from me. I am impressed with this micro sized pocket flashlight, and will probably buy a few extra. The quality and low cost is fantastic. This little gem will be come very popular.

My favorite 10180
Excellent micro light! I love the stainless steel body. It does get a bit hot, but never so much that it is an issue to hold and use. Good brightness, battery life is about 15 minutes on high which isn’t bad considering the tiny cell and output. Low runs for about 3 hours and is a good general use brightness. The tone is GOREGOUS! SST-20 led makes for a very nice early morning type gold hue, 4000k on low and 3600k on high. Makes a great photography light for smaller objects. Overall I love this little guy, it’s my new keychain edc.

not very durable
Great beam color and pattern - pretty much perfect. If it had more lumens (hard to do at this size!) I might want more flood, but this is the perfect beam optimization for this many lumens. I used it clipped to a hat for some car repair and it was the perfect mix of flood/spot. However, the clip popped off of mine and disappeared - I wish it was more robust! Good light otherwise overall, though I would have preferred a clicky rather than twisty UI. Since I lost the clip, the light now lives on my wife's keychain and I now carry a Manker E02ii, which is a better light in most ways except the beam pattern on the sofirn is a much better flood/spot balance IMO. Edit: stopped working after a few months. I would get a Manker in the first place next time.

Take a look at their website first
This light consists of two main parts: the battery tube and the head which contains the bezel, reflector, lens and led. The head is machined from one solid piece with male threads to attach to the battery tube. There is no way you can unscrew it from the battery tube and loosen the parts in the head. The threads are accurately machined and move smoothly taking less than 1/4 turn to turn on/off and change light levels with the thumb and fore-finger of one hand. The purpose of this light is to provide light in dark environments and maintain night vision. It is not very bright for that purpose so don't expect a blinding torch. It's a great light for campers, hikers, police and security who need a few minutes of light to read or to orient themselves in immediate surroundings. It takes one AAA battery so don't expect hours of light and the circuits are made to control 1.5 volts. If you use a 3.7 volt 10440 you will be disappointed with the results as it doesn't get that much brighter. It's a good light, well-made at a reasonable price and I don't regret buying it.

Tiny and Mighty
I work at a cave, and it lights the place up. This fits nicely on a key change and is incredibly bright for a tiny little flashlight. It is perfect as a back up device, an every day carry device, or a home use. Throw is good, distance is good, and it takes a single AAA battery. Cheap, easy, effective. Oh, and two light modes!

Great looking warm light
Really liking this light, on a dollar store aaa battery it’s plenty bright enough for everyday finding and navigating through a dark house. In case anyone didn’t know this uses a high quality Nichia led that produces a perfectly tinted warm light, much like a high quality incandescent would produce, on top of that it’s a very soft edged and diffused beam that’s perfect for close to mid range. I have 10440 batteries on the way which are reported elsewhere to work with this light as long as you don’t overheat it, so with that the only thing this light leaves to be desired is a built in usb charger, that would be extremely nice, but for just using throwaway batteries it works great and stays clipped to my shirt pocket well. If anyone knows of any usb rechargeable 10440 Nichia lights priced the same as this plz let me know!

Excellent value and nice light
I’ve got several flashlights, and as a keychain light or a light to have around the house or car, it can’t be beat for the money. 2 modes makes it practical in multiple situations. The 100lm mode is nice and bright and the 3 lumen mode is great for walking around in the dark. Sofirn has been doing great things recently. I also own the Q8 they make, with over 5000 lumens and extremely far range, this light is a beast! The C01s is extremely good for what it is.

Best value inexpensive high CRI keychain light
Get these while you can. Super lights with a high color rendering index (CRI). Great with AAA batteries, but crazy bright with 10440 (not approved by mfgr). I bought a bunch for stocking stuffers. Simple to use for the ladies, also, a lot of the fancy flashlights have complicated UI's these days. Would like to see same light in aluminum or titanium instead of colors, but at 2 for < $20 how can you complain?
