RONSIT Flosser Replacement Handle/Hose Assembly Compatible With Wp-100, Wp-450, Wp-660, Wp-900 Ultra Water Flosser

Very cheaply built, all plastic no rubber at the end of the handle, slips out easily.Would not buy again.

This seemed like a good solution when replacing my handle & hose assembly for my WaterPik WP-660C.The good - the replacement is very easy, two little screws and you're done.The no-so-good - the factory handle has an on-off switch that you slide up and down. On this replacement, once you turn on the machine the hose starts squirting. You can only turn it off by pushing down the button on the handle OR turning off the machine. From a human factors perspective, it's not as intuitive. But it is functionally equivalent.It's a good low cost, lower function substitute.UPDATE TWO MONTHS LATERThe item FAILED. The little button sticks inside the housing while using it.I would NOT recommend this product.

-1 star for not fitting in the holder on the WP-660. Its a different shape.-1 star for using a momentary switch for the wand - press to pause. If not an on/off, it would have been better for press to use.EDIT: the two design flaws together mean when the wand falls off the stand, it leaks everywhere.Plus it now has an actual leak where the tube meets the wand. Junk.Will see if I can get a genuine replacement.

4-4-22 - JUST RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING AMAZON WITH NOT REFUND THIS PRODUCT THAT BROKE AFTER 3 MONTHS - DID NOT RETURN RIGHT AWAY, AS OVER TIME LIMIT - AMAZON AGREED TO REFUND, AFTER RETURNING LATE - PRODUCT WAS BENT ON HOSE - CHEAPLY MADE, IN ANOTHER COUNTRY - WOULD NOT WORK!!! - AMAZON WENT BACK ON IT'S AGREEMENT TO REFUND!!!!! NOT HAPPY WITH THIS OUTCOME. TRIED TO FIND A PHILLIPS REPLACEMENT, NOT AVIALABLE, HAD TO ORDER ANOTHER FROM SAME COUNTRY, BUT DIFFERENT COMPANY - THIS ONE WORKS!!! AMAZON AGREED TO REFUND, AND NOW IT'S NOT - UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THIS OUTCOME!!! IT IS AN VERY INEXPENSIVE PRODUCT, NOT HAPPY WITH AMAZON!!!!This product was used every other day, after installation, by one person - the last few weeks, it has stopped working for the most part, as the on button gets stuck - yes, a cheap replacement from another country - I used this product (the first one, then the 2nd one) even though it wouldn't work most of the time - was so frustrating, over 3 months, then, the 2nd one over 3 months, and was so frustrated with it - I gave up and ordered another brand from same country - it seems fine so far - I would like to be credited by Amazon, as I couldn't mail it back in time, due to trying to use each over 3 months, and neither of them, after about l.5 to 2 months would connect properly and did not allow button to be pushed down, at times, button was stuck - extreme frustration - the new brand I ordered has not been a problem at all!!!

This was a lot cheaper than the brand name replacement part, and it saved me from having to replace the whole appliance when the tubing in the original handle started leaking. But, this replacement doesn’t provide the same strong water pressure as the original part, so it doesn’t clean as well. I saw other reviewers noted this problem, but decided to try it for myself. I don’t understand why the pressure is different since the pump is in the base, not the handle. But it really does make a difference. I increased the pressure setting to the maximum, but it still doesn’t work quite as well as it did before on a much lower setting.The other problem is the button on the handle doesn’t stay pressed in. You have to hold it in manually to stop the water flow. On the original handle, I could click the button and it would shut off the flow.I will probably end up buying the more expensive water pic replacement part so I can get the full pressure of the original.
