Q: I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. Would it be better to remove the insoles that footwear have in them before fitting these or use both together?

I honestly think insoles are of little help with plantar fasciitis. I used ones i bought and ones from podiatrist. Neither resolved ghe problem. I found only Joya shoes helped, Ghey are about £150 a pair but to be honest worth it for the pain relief and to fix the problem. Also a stretcher board which i bought from Amazon for under £20. avoid walking in bare feet and always stretch feel and claves on stretcher board before getting out of bed. Even in the night! My friend told me about the shoes and i resisted for 9 months- finally gave it and they fixed the problem.

Q: what does the 260mm refer to - length of insole?

Hi, this is the length of the insole which would make it a size 6/7 in a mans size shoe. xx

Q: Are these machine washable?

I would not do so as I would not want to risk damaging the glue that holds the top fabric layer in place. The insoles are ok with gentle wiping. If soaked, such as following hill walking, I remove the insoles for several days and dry in the airing cupboard before using a shoe freshener. So far I have not had any problems with odour with the several pairs I have.

Q: What size should I order for size 8 shoes
