Black Diamond Transition Climbing Gloves

These are well constructed gloves. The leather areas appear to have been designed with durability in mind and the ventilated areas allow for a bit of air flow. I tried them out on a Via Ferrata route and they performed well. I could still feel and grip rock holds, ladder rungs and cables without feeling like I had towels wrapped around my hands.My only disappointment was with the sizing. I have long slender hands and while the length is fine, the gloves (size L) fit too tightly. I am hoping that a few more climbs will break the gloves in and loosen them up a bit.If I were to order another pair I would try to order a larger size.UPDATE - It's now December and the gloves have broken in well. They no longer feel too tight. With that I boosted my rating to 5*

These are pretty good gloves. Not as soft as the Petzls though. And they don't fit as nice as the Petzls either. But a cheaper alternative

These are the most durable and most lightweight climbing gloves I’ve ever owned or seen. I currently work as a zip line guide and these gloves have done more for my protection and comfort than anything I’ve used. I frequently touch coarse steel running at 30-40mph through them, not a mark on them. I’m sold. Never buying a different glove again.

I love this gloves they fit perfectly, not only that my gloves got lost and Wild X did everything they could to make sure I got them back. Very satisfying experience.

I thought these were amazing until a hole appeared in a finger after trying them on...should return, but my hubby is hard headed and just keeps using them!

I bought a large and they ran more like a largish small of a smallish medium. Returned and went with the Peztl Transition gloves.

I bought these to use when my Metolius half fingers weren't enough. I've had the Metolius halfs for 2 years and they're still going strong. I received these on one trip, for 2 raps, and the stitching is already coming undone. Go with the Metolius full fingers if you're looking for something durable.

A little bulky, but that is more about the size of my hands. Worked great the first time out on a 3 pitch rappel after a 4 pitch climb.

Very good fit, supple leather, extremely comfortable.

No son los mejores guantes pero están muy bien para entretiempo. Se han pelado un poco en el primer uso (trepando el Pedraforca en el mes de octubre) así que imagino que en unos cuantos usos estarán bastante hechos polvo, pero aun así me han mantenido las manos calientes y dan sensibilidad que es importante.

Sehr robuste Handschuhe.Färben nur leider stark ab. Verschwindet jedoch wieder, sobald man seine Hände gründlich wäscht.

Excelente construcción. Muy bonitos. Solo que me quedaron chicos e inicie la devolución para volver a comprarlos de mi talla
