This is 100% (mercerized) 4/medium worsted cotton. It’s intended to have a different texture and is much more durable than conventional cotton yarn without the loss of a nice feel.The feel and look of a higher quality is obvious once you touch a finished piece. Yes, the yarn feels different than standard yarn. It’s supposed to. It’s processed differently for a reason.This particular yarn is perfect for any project that will be used or handled frequently. It is stronger, doesn’t produce heavy lint, doesn’t get fuzzy or pill up, doesn’t split easily, and is more resistant to mildew. It holds its shape better than regular cotton yarn, and withstands many many washes and tumble dries on a medium heat setting. (Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.)I disagree with the reviews that call it “thread” or dk weight. Not true. Yes, there is a dk version of this brand, but it clearly says dk on the front part of the label. They are a hot commodity because of the durability and how they hold their vibrant color for a long time. Definitely better than any store bought dishcloth/washcloth. Original order was a skein of white. Liked the way it handled, and ordered several skeins in lots of colors.I make doll sweaters for 14.4” and 18” dolls for the grandkids. The doll in the two photos is a 14.5” doll.The yarn has a nice luster, is lightweight and smooth to handle. The colors are very nice. It is very forgiving, and doesn’t split very easily. The single crochet stitch used in the all white sweater vest was a little stiff. The double crochet stitch used in the colored sweater was softer. I used an aluminum Size H crochet hook for each sweater.I found no frayed or cut ends in the skeins. Each skein was packaged in a plastic bag in the mailing envelope, and was clean and pristine. There were no issues with the cleanliness or condition of any of the numerous skeins I received.I enjoyed crocheting with this yarn. It was nice to handle, and easy to make into tiny doll sweaters. I may find a larger project to use this yarn on.Your mileage may vary. Happy crocheting!

I’m 11and I bought Ecru and it’s a beautiful color 🤍. It was easy to find the beginning of the yarn and I love the fact that it’s cotton. I loved this yarn so much so I three more balls of it so I could make my mom a table runner. It’s definitely not as soft as I hoped but it perfect for a table runner . I will make only the best of the best crochet 🧶 projects with this yarn.🔥

This is a pretty good more budget friendly cotton (if you can find it on sale).The colors are very saturated, but I have never had transfer on to my hands.The texture is not particularly soft and can irritate your hands, but it is also quite durable and is not going to break.This yarn has very nice stitch definition.The skein looks very small, but it is packed tight.Overall it works really well for many project as long as you are not looking for the softest yarn.Currently, I am combining it with other yarns to make coasters, the 24/7 gives the project nice structure, while the other yarns work well for the fluffier leafy bits.

A bit smaller than I anticipated. The yarn untwists when weaving ends but overall still nice and will be buying again.

Soft and easy to work with. Lots of colors to choose from. Does not bother my sensitive skin.

The yarn is nice, a bit flat on the color, and seems to go pretty far. But the problem I have with the yarn is that it is wound in such a way that I have to take the hook off of my work and let the work spin. Like when my garden hose is wound tight and I have to stretch it out to work with it. It is the same for this. I am trying to straighten out ahead but that doesn't seem to help. It is also much smaller yarn than the standard Red Heart brand-FYI.
