The Bio Dude Virgin Cork Bark Chunks 4" x 6" Bag, for Isopods, Springtails, Reptiles, Frogs and bioactive terrariums

I've ordered multiple different products from the Bio Dude brand several times now, and so far it hasn't disappointed me yet. I keep buying this smaller sized bag of bark specifically for my isopod tanks, which these are perfect for! I like that these are smaller pieces, as that's all I need. Just keep in mind that the pieces are all different and vary in shape and size from bag to bag; once I received a bag that was stuffed full with 3 good medium sized chunks of bark, and another time I mostly got a bag filled with only a bunch of smaller broken pieces. But each bag has always been stuffed full as possible, the wood has been clean (no issues with mold or contaminates), and I feel for a fair price too. I'll definitely be buying more in the future for sure. I also have used these bags for using with air plants, and these bark pieces work good for that as well.

Nice cork with good thickness. Clean. High quality. Perfect for small enclosures for little critters. 👍🏻❤️ I broke the pieces up for tiny sling enclosures and my spiderlings seem to like them. Also used one of the bigger pieces in my Little Kenyan roach colony (along side some cork flats). Again, happy critters. As mentioned in another review, the price is higher on Amazon, but the cost of shipping when ordering through their actual website makes ordering here cheaper (at least for me - around $25 shipping via website). Love The Bio Dude’s stuff, but man… the cost of shipping. Ouch. Unless you need a ton of supplies, it makes more financial sense to order here. Which is kind of a bummer. Can’t use affiliate codes here. And those affiliate codes don’t discount enough to make the cost of shipping via their website worth it. 😔

Cute little pieces of bark for my isopod enclosure. Could get bigger and more for a little bit more somewhere else, but for little pieces with lichen and such it’s very nice.

Of these in the terrarium. And the isopods, especially enjoyed these.

Very fast shipping. I was hoping for more leaf litter, but I'm happy and will buy again.

This is a good amount of cork bark if you only have a few enclosures. I have 7, so this bag is not lasting very long. Isopods enjoy cork, so mixing a cup it into bioactive substrate when establishing it is important. Then sprinkle a handful in to refresh every couple of months or so. The product is great, just expensive.

Product as described, used for isopods and springtails. They cling to the underside. Clearly safe for the critters.
