Q: What distance between the centers of the 2 magnets? they show 4.5" but that is not center-to-center. on my rocker switches, 4" between screw centers.

The magnet centers are roughly 3-13/16”. My rocker switch screws are 3.75” center to center.

No, the magnets are attached to the cover. They are not loose.

Yes you can use them side by side for 2 gang switches

The magnets are where the screws would go with solid plastic around it. They are strong magnets and u just place it over the switch, the magnets grab hold and done! Very nice product Not able to screw into place
