These really do work incredibly well, it seems that people just don't know how to properly apply them. They will last throughout the entire day, and sometimes they'll stick a full extra day with even with a shower. If placed correctly, they look very natural. I'll do a step by step because it really is quite easy. Step 1 (the most important step): Clean your ears, and the skin on your head by your ears, with the alcohol pads. If you don't do this, they will not stick. You will run out of the pads that are included if you use them daily, so you'll need to buy extra alcohol pads, or get some rubbing alcohol and cotton rounds. Step 2: Take a strip, make sure the split side is facing up, and then fold the strip in half. Peeel/fold both of the sides halfway down (Do not peel the paper off fully). Step 3: Cut the strip in half along the crease you just made. Take one half of the severed strip (save the other half), and then cut it in half vertically. You should have two strips now out of one half. Step 4: Feel the back of your ear. There should be a crease that runs through the middle of it. Peel the folded side of one of the strips off, and place the adhesive along this crease on the back of your ear. Do the same for the other ear. Let sit for 2 minutes. Step 5: Fold the back of the strips off, and press your ears against your head, making sure to move any hair out of the way. Hold for 1 minute. You should be done! Once you get the hang of this, it should take you less than 5 minutes to apply.

Amazing product, really happy with the result

My daughter has the belief that her ears are too "sticky outy". It made her incredibly self conscious, to the point she super glued her ears to her head (unsuccessfully... surprisingly). In an effort to prevent such ridiculous things from reoccurring, we invested in these. The one thing that strikes me when she wears them, is that the look is not natural, if you are wearing these, it seems obvious to me that you are as nobody has ears that close to their heads. However, that being said, once you get used to using them, they're easy enough to apply. Durability, without a shower/hair wash, these will last up to a week, however, usually about 3-4 days. She's used to them and will have a fit whenever they're out of stock (unfortunately for fear of her gluing her ears to her head, I've put up with the cost). For her, (now 14) she can cut one tab in half and use one half per ear, so they do last twice the time (until she randomly starts using them when she doesn't need to) Overall, because she relies on them and they work so much better than other brands, and are far better priced, these are helping a teen navigate self consciousness. For that, it's 5* from me.
