This DEWALT fan is absolutely fantastic! It’s powerful, quiet, and super portable. I love that it runs on the same 20V batteries I already use for my other DEWALT tools. It moves a lot of air and kept us cool even on hot, humid days.Perfect for camping, job sites, or just using around the house. The build quality is solid and durable, as expected from DEWALT. This is my 2nd fan of this type and brand. My 1st one lasted over 4 yrs of use , and abuse. Till one day someone decided take it. So I had to replace it4 yrs later the build is still great, the new fan works amazing. I'm happy that I have my fan back. The out put is fantastic, real Dewalt batteries last a long time. It's not that heavy, overall very happy with my purchase.

Took the the beach for our 6 month old and kept the tent he was playing in about 15 degrees cooler. Great product. Multiple speeds provided great power and air movement. Low noise and the best deal for the money on the market

This thing works great! Blows good air and high speed is pretty decent. Use while camping. When sitting outside, put it in front of you and enjoy a good breeze while keeping mosquitoes away.Haven't ran the battery dead so can't say how long it actually lasts but used for a few hours without issue.

This fan is so powerful and you can mount over your headboard so you’re cool all night. I ran for 2 entire nights and used during the day also on one charge. Very well made and great for mosquitoes and power outages. It has a bracket so you can hang it anywhere. Did I also mention it’s super quiet you cannot hear at all during the night. This is like a portable air conditioner as I bought this fan to replace my swamp cooler and it’s living up to all my expectations. I love that you can take this anywhere you go. You won’t be disappointed buying this fan.

With hurricane season in Florida, you can never be too prepared... last year, we went about 2 1/2 days without power and did not have any kind of fan which was honestly a mistake on our part.Bought 2 of these, since I have a dozen or so 20V DeWalt batteries and first impressions are fantastic.The battery fits into the receptacle and locked into place so no risk of it coming out, especially when moving the fan. The space for the battery easily holds 5AH battery size.One control, a rotary dial, turns it on and adjust from very low to very high speed. At the lowest setting, it's not super efficient but you can tell it's moving air. Turning up to medium or high and you really start to feel it. I can see using these in the garage when puttering around as well.Did not realize that there were 2 hooks for hanging, so that was a great surprise.It's pretty lightweight, even with the battery, and not terribly obtrusive in size. The noise is minimal at the lower speeds and while noticeable at higher speeds it's not terrible... I suspect after a bit you would simply tune it out.Reviews say it can last up to 10 hours on a single battery at low speeds (but don't say what AH size battery)... I haven't run it that long yet to have an opinion on battery life but based on all the other DeWalt stuff I have I expect it to be very good.If you need a lightweight, cordless fan I would definitely recommend this one (especially if you are already in the DeWalt family of tools).

Nice little fan that throws a good breeze, but it goes through the 20V batteries quite quickly. I think my 20V 5ah batteries last about (estimated) 4-5 hours in this.
