Great for withstanding impact
Firstly, let me begin with explaining that my ankles seem to have overly-flexible tendons. This resulted in a recurring ankle injury in martial arts as my ankle could not cope with the impact in falling out of faster throws. Standard compression tubes could not do the job and injury persisted, resulting in long periods out of training. With that in mind I went for something that would give as much support as possible, at a higher price yes, but the cost of a permanent injury would be much greater. It supports well during training, and restricts movement a little, as you would expect. It helps my ankle to withstand impact and train as normal. It also has nice quality breathable material. Overall a good buy and a good investment.

Size matters
They only had small size, that they didn't say. I am size 10 shoes hence the ankle support wasn't any use. I did gey a full refund.

Lots to like about this
I doubt this small size support would fit a foot larger than mine and I am a UK ladies size 5.5 (39 European) though it fits me perfectly. The plastic splint goes under the foot, a bit firm there, needed softening for my use, I may even cut the plastic instep section out which can be done through an access hole - why I gave it only 4 stars. The remainder is stylish, easy to put on and gives excellent ankle support.

Didn't like it at first
I was used to wearing a much lighter ankle brace and this one seemed to sit slightly more forward on my ankle....Then I reread the direction - THIS IS A MUST!!! Once I had it on correctly I couldn't believe how comfortable it was and how stable I was! For serious ankle injury it might be very tender at first (my experience) but all in all very highly recommended!

... while to arrive as came from USA but was recommended by my consultant podiatrist
This took a while to arrive as came from USA but was recommended by my consultant podiatrist. It has been helpful during acute stages of ankle problem and would probably recommend it to others as support for ankle joints

Saved my leg. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻Very happy. So hard to get in my size but this fit perfectly. I’m a size 4-5 in shoe and this worked. Only downside is the stitching that comes off sometimes...

I sprained my ankle and the hospital recommended this brace. They don't keep them in stock anymore so I was very careful to make sure I ordered the right one. the sizing said 5-8.5 for a small and I wear a 7 so figured I'd be fine. WRONG. I could not get my good foot in it never mind the swollen sprained foot. I rarely return items, and was not impressed to discover that this brace is not returnable. For $75, I really hope I can sell it on Marketplace. Do yourself a favor, if you need to order this product, find it locally where you can try it on first - don't order it online.

I broke my ankle two months ago and I needed something for stability after I took my air cast off and this has been awesome! I usually wear it around my house and wear my air cast out in public because this brace isn’t very good while wearing a shoe, but other than that it’s been great. I wear a size 8 shoe (women’s) so I got a small and it’s fits great. If you have a larger calf i would probably up a size though.

This brace is allowing me to get back to work after a Grade 2 Ligament Tear/Sprain. I work on my feet. It keeps my ankle stable and reduces any accidental eversion and internal rotation. The stirrup is important support, but it is also the one thing that can hurt. I'll be wearing this brace for the next 4-6 weeks daily and then it will come to work/exercise with me incase I need it.
