I drink a fair amount of C4 before workouts because I love the beta-alanine tingle, and it always wakes me up without a massive crash later. I usually stick to the Frozen Bombsicle or Skittles flavors, but I decided to give Cosmic Rainbow a shot for a change of pace. It is definitely still very tasty—it’s sweet and fruity, kind of like a handful of melted candy. However, it’s just not quite as nice as the other options they have. It feels a little generic compared to their branded collabs. I’d happily drink it again if it was the only cold one in the fridge, but it probably won't be my first choice next time.

C4 is a new brand to me, I just don't see it in the shops in the same way as I do more common brands of energy drink such as Red Bull, Monster, Reign and Rockstar - perhaps it is more common abroad/internationally. So despite being a regular drinker of energy drinks, this was my first time trying this brand. And I have to say that I'm very impresses. The taste is good - I tried "Cosmic Rainbow" and although its very sweet, the inclusion of malic acid means that it has a tartness to it aswell, a little like sour fizzy cola bottle sweets. The level of caffeine (160mg) gives a useful boost and is approximately the same as in other brands' 500ml drinks. I'm not sure that the taurine and betaine included have much scientific backing behind them in terms of efficacy. One thing I do like with the ingredients is that although the drink contains added B3 and B12 vitamins, these are at relatively sensible levels for supplementation - one can contains around 50% of the recommended daily amount of each - I'd rather that it had none since vitamin mega-dosing can be dangerous, but the amount here is relatively low, certainly compared to brands I've come across such as Monster (500%) and Moose (4000%) which seems irresponsible from those brands and would even be illegal in some European countries! All in all, I think this is going to be my go-to energy drink for now and I'll look forward to trying some more flavours on those days when I fancy a caffeine hit from a refreshing cold drink rather than a hot coffee.

I chose to buy these drinks for better value as they sell them at my gym for a jumper up price! I wasn’t disappointed- although this particular flavour wasn’t my favourite- I prefer the pineapple and would definitely purchase that next time. All I would say (although this could have occurred in transit as the box it arrived in was quite large around it) is that several of the cans were dented and damaged - not to the point of being un drinkable fortunately- but I do know that can dents and damage may effect the product inside. I was lucky this wasn’t the case - I think in Hindsight I should have contacted the seller for replacements. As I said though great value for money and decent energy workout drink! Would purchase again!

Low sugar energy drink love the tasty. Great looking can 500ml just perfect 👌 great value for money. Can't wait to try others.

Actually tastes like Skittles, which caught me off guard. Quite nice, if a little much after a week of solely drinking this every morning.

I am not joking. Is this good or bad? Up to you to decide. The similarity to skittles pops in every now and then but its not the first thing that comes to mind
